Multiple times lately I've had people assume I'm a lot younger than I am. Do you look younger or older than your age? Bonus points if you're brave enough to share a photo

I've had people assume I was younger and older. Once lo was born people stopped commenting... I think I aged, lol.

When I was 27ish I think... One of the people that worked in my area... kind of oldish lady asked me how old I was... before I could say anything... she guessed 35! I was like wow... um... no.. Thanks for making me feel old. I will say though I don't wear makeup normally.

A little of both... I think I look a little younger than I am, but I'm often in situations where people assume I'm older because of the situation (work stuff).

I'm 31 and no one ever thinks I'm that age.

I'm 5'11" so people think I'm older...since I'm usually much taller than them. Once in a blue moon, I hear that I have a baby face

I had someone ask me if I was 24, and I had another person insult me and say they've accomplished more in their 21 years than I have in my 40.

I'm 24 and I'm often told that I look 18-20. It used to get on my nerves, but I just started embracing it. Maybe when I'm 50, I'll look 40!

People are almost always shocked at my age because they expect me to be older. I've always liked that, but I'll probably not wish for that the longer time goes on!

29 in September, and DH and I got carded at a rated R movie a couple months ago! And the guy was totally serious, and looked embarrassed once he saw our ID's. I'll be brave and post a photo, cause I totally don't care. From my 28th bday.

I've always been told I look younger. My dentist thought I was 19 when I started going to her a few years ago (she said I even have "young teeth"?!) But, like others, the comments have slowed after having my son.

I was a substitute and would constantly get asked if I was a student. A few times teachers would ask why I was in the lounge or if i had a pass to be out during class. In regular life, people think DH is older than me, I'm 3, sometimes 4, years older than him

Younger. Two years ago I answered the door at my inlaws house and someone was trying to sell something. I said we weren't interested and the person asked if I was a minor, if there were any adults at home! I was 31!

Yes.. and I hate it! Most people would probably love to look younger, but I worry that people do not take me seriously because I'm 25 but often am mistaken for a teenager. When I was getting my hair done for my wedding, the women at the salon asked which school's prom I was going to
Hopefully people realize that I just look young when they see me with my baby and don't assume I'm a "teen mom" hah.

I was at Nordstrom getting fitted for alterations and the lady said "are you sure you want to hem these so short? You might grow!" And when I told her I hadn't grown taller since I was 16, she gasped and said she thought I was in high school. Haha! I was probably 28 or 29! I think being short makes people think I'm younger than I am.

I look younger. The drinking age where I live is 18, I am 31 and still get asked for ID when buying alcohol! Used to hate it when I was early 20's but I quite like it now

I think I probably look on target. I'll be 30 this fall. I have a couple lines in my forehead. I feel like I look like other people my age. I imagine people would guess I was in my "late twenties." I do get carded occasionally, but thats reasonable as you are supposed to card anyone who looks 27 or younger.

@hellocupcake: when I was student teaching (so I was 21), the school nurse saw me running through the hall and thought I was a 5th grader! But, like @sunny: I'm very short, so I think that plays into it. For years and years I'd get the question "How log have you been teaching?" from parents, which is the polite way to ask how old I am.
