DD 1 is standing in our foyer calling for her Grammie (my mom) who was here this morning with her. She loves all her grandparents so much, were very lucky!

DS loves all of his grandparents! The other day we got home from our in-laws and we were still in the driveway and DS says, "sad. miss grandpa. miss grandma." All I could think was dude, we just saw them 5 minutes ago!!! DD loves them too, but isn't old enough to be too attached yet

DS loves my parents. He doesn't really know his grandparents on his dad's side. He loves DHs parents but he's closest to mine.

My lo loves my mom so much that he rarely lets me hold him while she's around! I love/hate it.

She LOVES my parents! Talks about them all the time. She likes DH's parents, but isn't as excited about them.

My parents pick up the boys from school/daycare 3 times a week in order to spend lots of time with them. It's a mutual admiration society over there.
My MIL lives an hour away, so they see her once a month, but she's tons of fun {and has dogs and doesn't ever say no} so they love to see her too.

Dd is only 16 months old and has always loved her grandparents, she only has 5-10 words in her vocabulary and tata (grandpa) is one of her favorites she asks for them often and yells it when we get to either one of their houses
I hope she gets to continue this and it's one of the main reasons I wouldn't let DH move us too far away from either sets of parents. I grew up without really knowing my grandparents, I think I missed out a little.

She loves my parents. Doesn't see the ILs much so she takes a while to warm up to them.
