I LOVE pho. I once ate it three times in a day back in university. Serious. I get beef brisket. Lots of hoisin and hot sauce.

I always get fresh summer rolls, shrimp toast and chicken soup pho. yummm. But I hate how my burps taste and smell for a good 24 hours after....

Never had it. Hubby always eats it for lunch because he has a good restaurant by his work. I keep telling him he needs to take me!

I love it! I like getting the vermicelli since I'm not a huge fan of soup. I love the mix of warm ingredients with cold veggies and herbs. Mmmm. I wish we had more Pho places around us!

@mediagirl: ooh I love vermicelli too!! I love that sweet/sour fish sauce you pour all over it. I'm not big on soup either, but I usually only want to eat vietnamese when I'm sick, and in that case the chicken pho is exactly what I want.

oh yummmmmm I love Pho!!! There is a new Pho shop by my doctor - already planning to hit it up after my next appointment. I like lots of lime and hoisin sauce in my Pho.

i love pho with raw beef and lots of sprouts. but i love the vermecelli noodles with pork chops much much much more! and the pork chops with broken rice. mmmmmmmmmmmm i wish we had some vietnamese that was closer!

It has to be really good pho, which is hard to find around me. I grew up eating really good pho, though, as my mom's side of the family is from Vietnam. My grandma made really great Vietnamese food.

Love love love pho. I'm Vietnamese and grew up in Little Saigon, so I had/have it ALL THE TIME. Tai chin nam gau. That's what I normally get (rare steak, brisket, flank steak, fatty brisket). I only get tendon depending on my mood (mmm soft and slippery!). And I get vinegar-ed onions and cooked bean sprouts on the side.
Oxtail pho is so so so good, too. Try getting the rare steak on the side if you haven't had it before-- you dip it in the broth as you're eating so each slice is perfectly cooked.

Yes! I like it with everything, even with tendon, but it has to be soft ... mmm! Last time I had it was when we visited SD for the holidays.

I never really ate out when I was a kid so when my hubs and I started dating, our 3rd date was to his favorite pho restaurant. Then he began to tell me about his love for pho and how if he could eat one food for the rest of his life, it'd be pho. I now LOVE noodle soups and will occasionally order other dishes on the menu but my husband never fails to order #23, extra large combo with rare beef on the side.

I LOVE PHO - brisket with lots of bean sprouts, basil, jalepenos, lime and siracha...I always order large and my husband and I will split a pork Vietnamese sandwich...so tasty!
