In the neighborhood we live in, a lot of people make cookies, candy, and other treats and hand them out at Christmas. Do you do this?

I never have before but this year we made cider (the alcoholic kind) from the apples off of our apple tree and are going to give a few bottles to our neighbour, if that counts?!!

We didn't like our old neighbors. We just moved into this house so I might bake cookies to help build a relationship.

No, but maybe I should! I don't know my neighbors well, but one once brought me homemade donuts.... I should reciprocate!

@rahlyrah: I think I will jump in this year too! I love all our neighbors.

We live in an apartment and either don't like, or don't know our neighbors.
I do bake treats for my DH's work and my work though!

This is our first year in our house but I probably won't.

Nope! I only know 2 of my neighbors. We greet each other but that's it. Our neighborhood is super non-festive.

We live in an apartment, and I don't think I could even tell you the first name of any of our neighbours. Actually, one of them is also an Alicia, but I only know that because I heard someone else calling her that, and remembered because we have the same name.
So..... no. No treats for the neighbours.

I've made cookies for our old neighbors. We rarely see the people who live on our floor now.

This is a new neighborhood for us, so I'm not sure yet. I love to bake so I really don't mind if they do.

I was considering this today. We have finally gotten to know our 2 neighbors. I was thinking about it after hearing 1 neighbor has offered to scrape snow off our driveway if it gets bad this weekend. I don't know what to make. I don't really make candy but do bake. Maybe just some cookies. What do you all take neighbors (other than @Cherrybee:'s cider-yum)?

We are friendly with lots of people on our street, especially 2 adjacent neighbors & a couple a few doors down. We'll be giving them some holiday treats. We've also given them alcoholic cider/home-brewed beers & some honey from our beehive before.
@kentuckygirl: I've given zucchini bread, cookies, & peanut butter balls (some people call them buck-eyes?).

@grizz: no, they all hate us bc we want to put a fence up.

Nope, I can't even manage Christmas cards! Usually my husband needs last minute treats baked for his techs since he didn't plan ahead, so I'll throw together a box of Croonies (cookie-brownies) but that's the extent of it for me.

I'm going to take treats to the neighbors that we are friendly with.

i'll probably drop off treats/gifts for the neighbors we are close to!

No, we don't speak to our close neighbors at all. It's not a very friendly street...we hang out with the people 2 blocks down and some other couples 1 street over!

Nope. My neighbors are not friendly and I've pretty much given up on trying to build a relationship with them! I actually debated trying to overwhelm them with kindness and baked goods this year at Xmas, but I honestly don't think I care anymore lol!
