I have purchased a handful of coordinating outfits for my daughter and soon to be arriving baby boy 
My husband rolled his eyes when I showed him my plans...guess he thought since they were different genders I wouldn't coordinate them...wrong! I obviously don't plan to do it all the time...buuuuut when I came across matching gingham prints at Baby Gap one day...I almost bought all the sizes, lol.

Yes, my toddler loves matching outfits so we do it about 1-2 a week. Mostly PJs!

@emg86: yup, i'm going to be "That mom" with my boys....my hubby totally rolled my eyes at me too when i showed him i bought the boys matching socks.. I'm still kicking myself for not buying a outfit in 2t for my older son that matches baby boy's coming home outfit perfectly!! its probably gone now, but i should go look and see!!

Hahaha I just posted on my blog a picture of us matching. My reasoning was that she has such cute clothes, I wanted to dress just like her - haha.
But I've noticed that I dress her in outfits I like, that we end up matching more often that I plan.
Go for it! You only have so long before they have a say in what they wear!
