We meal plan most weeks but we're awful at sticking to the meals and food often gets wasted.
This week's plan was:
Sunday: Roast chicken, new potatoes and steamed veggies
Monday: Chilli con carne and rice
Tuesday: Chicken breasts baked in cider and cream, with stir fried spinach, baby corn and mange tout.
Wednesday: Mixed vegetable bolognese with pasta
Thursday: Baked salmon with new potatoes and steamed veggies
Friday: Home made chicken curry with rice, naan and samosas
Saturday (today): Steak pie with chips
Sunday: Beef stew with dumplings
We stuck to it fairly well this week - although we didn't fancy Tuesday's dinner on Tuesday so we had chips from the local chippy - the chicken ended up being wasted but I used the spinach in Friday's curry. Oh and we made lasagne on one of the days instead so the veggie bolognese was cooked up and frozen for another day!
Hope this helps!

Ill generally pick a few recipes and write them on the fridge, then whatever I feel like making (I buy all the ingredients for that week) ill make and erase.
Some this week are tacos & quesadilla, hamburg pie and potatoes, spaghetti and meatballs, chicken tortellini soup, homemade pizza or calzones, baked homemade macaroni an cheese, and baked chicken with sides!

This week we had/ are having
-vegetable soup and cheese biscuits
-salmon, quinoa, and steamed broccoli
-sausage and rice casserole
-pork chops and veggies
-something called cornbread casserole. I have no idea what this is. My husband is making it. I'll make a salad to go with it.
I don't assign days when I right out the meal plan. I just have ingredients for several things on hand and decide what I feel like making that day.

@Cherrybee: are you British by any chance? That's the first time I've heard anyone talk about a chippy. I miss them, it's always the first thing we do when we visit home, buy fish, chips and scraps.
@FutureMrsMcK: your list sounds delicious!

I don't really meal plan. I just buy whatever is on sale at the market for the week and make easy meals from that.
