I'm only 10 weeks pp and kind of miss it. I don't plan on being pregnant again, but my last was just so easy on my body. Almost makes me want to have a third.

I did, then I got pregnant again. I'm thinking I should write myself a letter to remind my not pregnant self about how much being pregnant is lame! lol!

I know I'm in the third trimester and in the worst of it, but I can't imagine missing this. I'll be very happy to not be pregnant anymore in a couple months!

A tiny bit, but mostly not. I hated the food restrictions, all the physical issues (nausea, joint pain) and the worry. I love the end result though! I miss the kicks a tiny bit (just that they were cool) and I Miss being not self concious about my belly. THATS IT!

I wasn't a fan of being pregnant while I was pregnant, but I miss it now! I think its because a lot of women around me are pregnant and I have baby fever so bad...

Yes!!!! I LOVED being pregnant!!!! I've always been overweight, but being pregnant, I felt so beautiful! I loved having that hard round stomach that was there for a reason other than how much I eat, haha. I definitely don't love the flab I have now, haha.

No, not really. I had a lot of aches and pains and just general blah feelings.

yes, it was a very special time and thankfully i had an uncomplicated, relatively easy pregnancy. i'd be singing a different tune if i had been in significant discomfort/pain, though!

I did until I got pregnant again, then it was easy to remember how miserable it is. Not sure I'll ever forget how awful it is after this pregnancy. The second time isn't nearly as much fun as the first time. I'm just looking forward to meeting this little guy as soon as safely possible.
***Must favorite this one so I remember this when I get the baby rabies again!***

Heck no. I had a really hard time with the weight gain, pelvic separation issues, and people thinking my body was public property they could touch and give me their opinion about. It was really hard on me...
But I did like eating all the Cadbury eggs I wanted, guilt free!

I love being pregnant, I have easy pregnancies mind you so its easy to love. My next time will be the last so I want to make sure I savor and remember that time as Ill never get to have it again after the next one

Only in the sense that I didn't have a little person dependent on me 24/7 The nausea, fatigue, carrying around the excess weight...not so much!

Yes, as long as I could keep my crazy anxiety in check, I LOVED being pregnant! Even the gestational diabetes wasnt too bad once I got used to it. I'm 8 weeks pp and already talking about #2 and my husband looks at me like I'm nuts.

@prettylizy: lol, yes! like I've said in other threads, I feel bad for the first time moms in our due month group, we have so many second timers that are super over it
I'm thinking my letter will consist of just the words "don't do it, wear a rubber" and fold a condom inside the note.
I really liked the kicks with my first, but this little guy is beating the crap out of me! Kind of dreading that we are planning a third, but hopefully three years in between instead of two will improve my outlook? All the 3rd trimester whining aside, I love the past two years with my boy, but should wean first before getting pregnant again!

@lemondrop: I know, all the FT mamas are still in the magic and wonder stage and I'm all "I hate everything!" lol!
My note would say "Find someone big, put a steel toe boot on him/her. Have them kick you in the lady bits. Now you remember being pregnant, don't do it again!" lol!

@prettylizy: haha, yeah so true! also adding to mine- bend over and tie your shoes, how awesome does that feel?
lol, @mrsjyw: sorry for the grumpy prego hijack, your little guy is so adorable, we should be encouraging you to get busy! then you can whine with us

I do! I tell DH all the time that i can't remember what I hated so much about it at the time, so it must not have been that bad, right?! Only 9 more months until we can TTC again! Holy crap.

Yes!!! The swelling towards the end was awful but I really, really miss my bump. And the baby kicks.

Yes!
I hurt towards the end and never slept good. But I loved the clothes, extra attention, feeling her kick, and most importantly not having to suck in my stomach.

@MrsTiz: You're going to TTC at the 1 year mark too?! Oh please, let us be pregnant together again!!!!

@lilteacherbee: yes! that would be so much fun!!! Crazy to think I'm already 1/4 of the way there. Eek!

I do miss it sometimes...then I remember how badly I wanted to be able to eat/drink what I wanted and those feelings quickly disappear.
pomegranate / 3863 posts
Yes, but then I remember the 3 months of bed rest, the hospital stay to make sure I made it to viability, the horrible skin, twice weekly doctors appointments and I suddenly don't miss it anymore!!!!!
nectarine / 2973 posts
I loved being pregnant! Not sucking in my stomach, comfy maternity clothes, people being nicer/more helpful, feeling baby kicks! I can't wait to do it again(although not for several years haha)

I kind of miss it, not going to lie! I'm living vicariously through a few friends

Kind of, even though I'm 6 weeks PP! Since DD was born a few weeks early, I wasn't mentally prepared to be unpregnant and feel almost like I missed out in relishing those last few weeks. Granted, I'm very happy she is here, but since we aren't planning on having any more babies, I kind of miss it. Also, over the weekend a friend posted a beautiful fb photo of his very pregnant wife and it made me miss being pregnant for a few minutes.

YES!!!! DS was super nice to me, and I absolutely LOVED being pregnant!!! I sure hope pregnancy #2 is the same as #1 when the time comes. Then again, I heard to expect the opposite with your 2nd, so I'm also already cringing at that thought.....

Yep, I miss it. I see pregnant bellies and miss it. Even by the end with LO, I was over being pregnant. Being pregnant in the late summer was miserable. I wouldn't mind being pregnant during a different season next time.

I definitely miss being pampered while pregnant. I received the royal treatment for sure. My inlaws, my family, my DH were spoiling me rotten, filled my plates with my favorite foods. DH wouldn't even let me carry the groceries in because he didn't want me to stress. It was the only time I felt big and fabulous, the bigger my belly was, the happier I was. I hope to be pregnant again by year end.
grapefruit / 4997 posts
Yeah I heard the royal treatment doesn't exist for #2 and beyond but still looking forward to growing our little family!
