Sad that they are growing up so fast or happy that they are learning new skills?
I think I have mainly been happy/excited so far, especially for those milestones that have made my life easier like feeding herself, putting on/removing clothing, talking and telling me what she wants.

Since he's my first, I'm more excited about milestones since they're all new to me. Plus I know I can enjoy the "baby" days all over again with baby #2. But I have a feeling I won't be as excited with the 2nd because it'll feel like she's growing up too fast. And we plan on only having 2 kids.

It's a 50/50 split. I'm really happy to see her reach a milestone. It's exciting to think of all the new things she'll be able to do. But it shows how fast she's growing, and I don't want to miss it.

Happy and sad. Lo's first tooth is coming in, and of course its exciting, but ill miss her gummy smile.
