I definitely do. I don't eat as well or as often as I should. It's hard because in this newborn stage he is so needy... I just don't have time to cook when I'm by myself with him!

Definitely. My eyebrows are scary right now! A shower and two meals a day are about all I can manage... And I use the term 'meal' loosely! It's more like whatever I can scrounge with one hand while holding my little guy.

Absolutely! I did a quick eyebrow shape up the other day... They were REALLY bad- they still aren't great! I find mysef snacking on junk because its easier than making something while trying to hold LO.

Absolutely. It's moved beyond basic needs at this point (like showers and food). I can usually get those things in. Now it's like my need for socialization and my need for new clothes. lol

I try not to, but there are so many things we would have done already in our new place if we weren't on an every three hour house arrest feeding this guy! We are making an effort, though. It really helps that DH is officially between jobs, so he helps a ton.

I wouln't say neglect... but I WOULD say 'streamline.' I make sure to take care of myself (sleep, eat well, etc.) but don't have a very high need for "me" time, so I just get what I get and don't worry too much.

I've just added back healthy eating and exercise, so that's a step in a right direction.

I do and i pay for it. I was diagnosed with exhaustion and dehydration back in late May when we returned from Montreal. Since then i have been doing a bit better but its still a day to day struggle.

@Pepper: yes! i haven't gone for a run since last year and not that i'm an avid runner, it's a good way for me to exercise. i would love to have a spa day and get a massage/facial

I did and it affected my self esteem very badly. I finally have gotten it together (my son is 2.5) and I feel awesome. I am not talking major changes, but I gave myself the gift of weight watchers.

I try not to as I know that it is bad for me, my marriage and my child to put myself last so I try to look after myself but things have definitely been streamlined since having a LO!
Although part of the problem for me is that I really do have high needs for "me" time so marriage and a baby have been a huge adjustment on that front.

I go downhill fast if I don't take care of myself and it bums me out and negatively affects the rest of my life, so I put taking care of myself towards the top of the list. If momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.

Definitely! I used to drink so much water when I was pregnant with him and ate incredibly well. Now...not so much. I'm trying to get back into it though now that he's older (10 months). Getting myself back into running with him and just taking some me time too...
