I'll start off by saying I am by no means a food snob. I shop at stores a lot of people turn their noses up at and I eat things with processed cheese powder on them. That being said, I bought a store-made pound cake this weekend and I thought it tasted awful. I wanted to make one at home but when I looked at the recipe, everything had to be room temp. Ain't nobody got time for that on a Sunday afternoon.
Next time, I'm making my own pound cake. I can usually find an excuse to eat pound cake any time of day. I just want to toss this one in the garbage.
Do you notice a taste difference between store-bought baked goods and homemade ones?
