I don't know how it happened, but i've gotten stuck on nursing LO before i put her down for a nap. Now i'm worried that she's getting used to it!

When I put her down, I nurse her to sleep for her naps.
When dad puts her down, I nurse her after.
She obviously doesn't depend on my nursing because dad can put her down just fine as well.

Before... and I need to stop so she can go to sleep w/o the bottle now. There are some times when I do feed her a bottle when she wakes up, but that's only if she took a really long nap, which are few and far between.

Neither, but I only kind of follow timed intervals and aim to nurse after naps. I try to make sure she nurses every 3.5-4 hours, but I have no problems with her nursing in between if she wants. I don't like her to nurse too close to nap time because she can quickly rely on sleep props.

Both! Breastmilk changes throughout the day & can help calm or awaken baby. I often nurse before she goes down & if she wakes up fussy I will scoop her from her bed, lie down with her in our bed, & nurse her to see if she's either ready to wake up or go back to sleep. She also goes down without nursing too so I don't worry about creating a "bad habit".... I feel she has plenty of time to learn her independence at her own cuing so I'm happy nursing her as much as she wants at this point.

When LO was little-little, I would nurse her before naps. When she was older (6/7/8 months?) I would just put her down for her nap and when she woke up, I'd let her nurse for a bit - more for comfort.
