All night with DS2 and DS1 gets in our bed about 4am almost every night.

My kids are NOT cosleepers! They are both very active sleepers. The times I've tried cosleeping to get them to go back to sleep in the middle of the night (while traveling, teething, newborn days, etc) has been a major major fail. They have to be alone in the super quiet dark to be able to fall asleep.

Now that Wagon Jr. is older, he CAN cosleep (as long as we turn our backs to him and ignore him and basically yell at him to be quiet and go to sleep). However, once everyone is asleep he ends up kicking both of us. I usually get kicked in the boobs. So now when we are traveling (or if guests come over and sleep in his room) he sleeps on an air mattress on the floor while we sleep in the bed. Everyone gets a lot more sleep that way! Plus we can creep in and out while he's asleep.

That's how co-sleeping started for us. DD was waking up at 4am everyday and I would give her a bottle in our bed and she would sleep until 8. Now she just likes being close to me. I'm ready to quit! She used to just lay next to me but now she likes to sleep with her face on top of my face.

Only ever a few times to get him back to sleep when he is really sick....he is a bed hog and generally treats our bed as a jungle gym.

All the time?

When she's teething or sick, she wants to sleep with me and I let her. Also, sometimes she will nurse in the early morning and stay in my bed. Sometimes she wants to sleep with me and other times she wants her own space. Last night she really wanted to sleep near me and I let her because I got home at 7:30pm and we hadn't seen each other all day. However, she woke up at 10pm and tossed/turned/fussed until I put her in her own bed, where she fell promptly went back to sleep.

Never! she won't lay with us, she thinks it is playtime. She only sleeps by herself in quiet. She's not a cuddler It makes me sad, on the weekends we try to get her to lay with us and instead she plays queen of the mountain and attacks us

When she's sick or when we're traveling. She won't sleep in any other crib except her own. When we we travel, the hotels always have a crib set up in the room but she refuses to sleep in it ever, so it's just easier to let her sleep in the big bed.

Every night. It's the only way I would get any sleep.

Every once in awhile we still bed share. We bed share when we travel. She sleeps between us in hotel beds. When DH redid our floors, Chloe & I bed shared at my parents house for a weekend. And, sometimes Chloe & I fall asleep in my bedroom watching a movie on the iPad.

We've been cosleeping this past week since N refused to sleep in her bed, and has been battling a cold/fever. We've been miserable.

We coslept on and off every night until we sleep trained at 5.5 months, Since then we only cosleep while we travel and it's usually not all night as long as we have a pack and play. He's become a REALLY active sleeper and we all sleep better when he's in his own crib/bed.

Every night starting anywhere from 10pm to 1am. But I'm using the term co-"sleep" loosely these days. The little man is learning how to fall asleep without nursing (yay!) but it involves a LOT of flopping around (boo!)

We coslept with DS until he was 3. We've never coslept with this LO. She is a very independent sleeper.

I'd love to cosleep just because I love cuddling a sleeping baby, but our son seems to be black n white. If we do cosleep this seems to trigger a bout of sleep training as he doesn't want to sleep by himself afterwards.

We co-slept until he was 6 months old. Now he's way too distracted to come into our bed ("Oh look, vitamins! Oh look, Dad's beard! Things I must try to put into my mouth!"). We usually have one really good early morning nursing session lying down on the futon in his room, and sometimes he falls asleep and I'll doze with him but it's rare. Usually I just doze while he nurses, and when he's ready to go back into his crib he'll sit up and lean against my stomach or crawl over me, climb down and go to his crib.
