Once in a blue moon we'll have a special night & order delivery & eat it in bed & watch a movie, but not with any regularity.

I sometimes eat in the MOTN from my nightstand..but I lean over. I hateeee crumbs in the bed with a passion.
papaya / 10343 posts
not usually. Although rarely if my husband is watching football or something I'll go cuddle up in bed and watch tv alone for a few hours and then I may grab a snack. But we never eat like-- FOOD food.

Very rarely. We used to a lot more before LO. If I do eat a snack in there DH gets mad because I make a mess

Haha yes! This morning my husband said to me, "did you come to bed munching on popcorn last night?" yup.
pomelo / 5509 posts
As Monica from Friends would say, "No crumbies in the bed!" Except yeah, I do once in a while. Just snack foods. Don't tell DH!

The only time food was allowed in the bed was right after I had LO and was recovering from my csection. My husband would make me a toasted bagel and bring it up to me to eat in bed after I finished nursing LO. It was only a few days but I remember feeling weird eating it bed

I've been known to snack on a bowl of popcorn or potato chips in bed once in a while... and I may be enjoying a couple of squares of Dairy Milk in bed as I type

Only small snacks since I'm pregnant. DH doesn't like any kind of food in bed but has been extra patient about that lately!
pomegranate / 3350 posts
Normally no but I did have small snacks both in early pregnancy to combat nausea and in the early days of breastfeeding during the middle of the night because I was always starving.
I yell at DH about eating in bed but he has been known to if I'm in bed and he's not sleeping but hungry (like with breakfast if I haven't gotten up yet). It drives me nuts.

My initial response was no, never! But then @sandy's response reminded me that my husband would bring up a bowl of cereal, almond milk and coffee for me every morning for the first few weeks after our LO was born. Those days I wouldn't get out of bed until 10!

Not really. Maybe we have had a snack or breakfast a few times or when we are sick but other than that no.
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21628 posts
Very rarely, like if one of us is sick and is eating crackers.
papaya / 10473 posts
Never! No crumbs in the bed.
DH loves to go grab a snack and crawl back in bed in the mornings... I always see evidence

Gross.....no!!!
I have had "breakfast in bed" twice, but both times I have taken the food and eaten it on the chair in our bedroom.
persimmon / 1304 posts
Noooo way. Feeling just one crumb would make me crazy. And every time I think about eating in bed, it reminds me of a game I had as a kid "Crackers in my Bed." Anyone remember that one?
pomegranate / 3580 posts
No way! Although one time I ate some crackers in there because I wasn't feeling well and then tried to lie to DH about it when he found crumbs (why??? I have no idea why I'd lie!). I was totally busted. We both hate crumbs in the bed though and I can honestly say I've never seen DH eat in bed.

Sometimes I have a late night snack of chocolate or fruit in bed. DH is always eating dried mango in bed and I find evidence. Drives me nuts.

Never! At night, once I'm in, I'm in and can't get out to brush my teeth again!

Once in a whir we'll have a snack in bed, but that's about it. And that's even rare
pomegranate / 3809 posts
Only in a hotel, and even then I normally eat at the desk. No food in bed at home though. Heck, no food upstairs!
pomelo / 5469 posts
Sometimes I wolf down a couple of cereal bars in the MOTN, but that's all. Dh hates crumbs in the bed with a passion, so I try and hide it from him
watermelon / 14206 posts
Not a meal, but DH often likes to sit and watch tv in bed with a snack. He's not a slob about it, though. I don't too much, but only because I don't snack in the evenings that much.
