Just wondering how many people own one. MY baby is nearly 5 months old and we dont have a sterilizer, every now and then I place her nipples and bottles in boiling water for a few minutes but I dont sterilize every day.
I also dont want to place the bottles in the microwave, so I dont like the microwave sterilizers. Do you have a sterilizer? are you happy with it?

No, I didn't feel like it was necessary. We sterilize in a pot of boiling water, the dishwasher, and disinfect with white vinegar.

Yes, we did and I used it for almost 8 months. It was more of a place to keep our bottles.

Nope - I boiled once and hand wash everything. Periodically, I'll through the bottles in the dishwasher.

I boil the parts occasionally but I do not own a sterilizer.

Yes, but I have never used it. Come to think of it, I just sterilized my pump before using it for the first time and I totally forgot that I had the sterilizer and just boiled it in a pot...Maybe I should sell the sterilizer on ebay?

We use boiling water, but I only do it for the first use. I feel like she sticks everything in her mouth after it drops on the floor anyway..... so why am I going to waste my time boiling nipples.

We have the Tommee Tippee counter top sterilizer and I use it whenever I use my pump... so a ton at first, and not as much now, but it still gets used occasionally.

our bottle warmer has a sterilizer basket. hubby sterilizes the bottle nipples and pacis almost every night when he washes all the bottles. we use glass bottles and just handwash them.

we have one. i don't really use it, but my mom and MIL use it every so often. u don't have to sterilize those all the time, maybe once a week or so? we have the electric steam one tommee tippee, not the microwave.

Our dishwasher has a sterilize feature, so we won't be buying a separate one. I'm sure I'll be a little neurotic about it though!
