Did you get a separate video camera like the Flip or do you use the video camera on your phone/tablet for video of your children?

i have a flip but i never use it. having a video camera on the iphone has been absolutely indispensables since i always have it on me. i wouldn't have captured so many moments on video if not for the iphone!

We have a flip and used it a ton when my daughter was younger and we were home more. But now that we do a lot more outside of the house, I just use the video feature on my point and shoot.

I capture most of my video using my iPhone, but we do have a real video camera that we're very happy to have because we use it for a lot of the big moments e.g. first laugh, sitting up, etc. And it's just plain great to have the memories for our son to see when he's older.

My cell has a video function, but it won't let me text videos, and I find it too complicated to transfer from the phone to my laptop, but my digital camera takes okay videos, and that's good enough for me right now.
