I own an iron, but I refuse to use it. My DH uses it to iron his work shirts, so it gets used about 1 time per week. I believe in hanging up everything straight out of the wash to prevent wrinkles, or just ignore the wrinkles. I hate ironing.

Yep, one for last minute items that we don't have time to get dry cleaned.

Yes, and I use it for my sewing projects. I hate ironing clothes, so I never wear button-down shirts or linen.

We used to but threw it away because it was old, but more importantly because all of DH's shirts are non-iron now! Saves so much time! The last time I ironed was probably 2010.

Yep, but I really only use it for crafts and sewing. We have a steamer for clothes and we LOVE it.

I iron DH's work shirts every week on Sunday night. He definitely knows how to iron, but I'm pretty fast at it, and hate to see him take an hour to iron 3 shirts when I can do 8 in the same time. Plus, he does things that I absolutely hate doing, like dusting and vacuuming. I'll take it!

I don't know why this thread is blowing my mind, but I had no idea so many people didn't iron! I iron almost every single day. Most clothes get ironed before getting hung on weekends, and I even iron sheets and pillowcases. I iron my toddlers pants and collared shirts, as well as my husband's. I cannot stand wrinkles.

I'm so anal about it, the fact that there aren't irons in cruise ship rooms, and you're not allowed to bring you own, is literally my biggest hang-up about cruises.

Yes but it gets as much action as my waffle maker... I refuse to buy anything that I will have to iron.

@mrbee: I'm telling you, wrinkles are my kryptonite. I may not have a perfect body or a fabulous wardrobe, but dammit, I will look pressed!

Yes, lots of our clothes require ironing and I hate taking things to the dry cleaners when I can do it myself.

My husband wears no iron shirts, but I still iron them. I would rather do that than send them to the drycleaners. I send a lot to the cleaners as it is, so I feel like I should do my part for our health and our environment to launder 5 shirts a week. My husband doens't care, if it were up to him, he'd send them to the cleaners, though.

No. Lol. I make a point to not buy anything that needs ironed.

I own an iron, but think I've only used it maybe 3 times in 5 years. I've gone through a lot of bottles of Downy Wrinkle Releaser spray though. I use that just about every day.
