I noticed some of the recent DIY projects we've featured have involved sewing or a sewing machine... so I got to wondering if you all have sewing tools.
Do you own sewing supplies or a sewing machine?

I do. I hope someday to have a sewing room, it's such a pain to pull out my machine for little projects.

I have a few needles and lots of colored thread. No sewing machine though. I would invest in one if I were a DIY queen, but alas I am not.

I have a sewing machine but have not done a lot with it. I made a pair of pants for LO. I also made LOs Halloween costume one year - that I was very proud of considering I have basically no experience.

Yes. I learned how to use it a few months ago and made two things - a dress for our LO and a banner for the nursery. OMG I love the banner so much. It was so easy, though...you could totally make it with iron-on tape.

No. I don't know how to sew at all.

Yep! I sewed more when I was growing up, but I just got a new machine for Christmas. I'm really excited about making some home decor items (curtains, pillows, etc.) and someday, some baby items!

I would love a sewing machine. I sewed basic things growing up and I think I could make some really cute things for LO. I would love to make her some blankets/quilts as she grows up.

I have sewing supplies. My MIL got a new sewing machine and promised me her old one, so I'm waiting on getting that.

I have a sewing machine and an embroidery machine. Baby Girl has her name on everything!!

Yep - I took an introductory sewing course a couple of years ago and then bought a sewing machine. I can only do basic things, though. Nothing fancy.

My grandparents owned their own tailoring(?) shop when I was little so I learned pretty young and on an industrial sewing machine. I'd love to get one now and to get back into it!

I don't have a sewing machine but would like one. I do have enough sewing supplies to repair hems, buttons, holes, etc.

I have a sewing machine and the supplies but I haven't used it since LO was born. I just never have the time. *sigh*

I own both. I haven't had a chance to make anything recently, though.

My parents bought me one a few years ago, so that I would return the one I stole from my mother. Last year they got me a refurbished serger for the same reason

Strangely, I have four sewing machines in the house (two old ones from my grandma, one really super old one from my husband's great grandma and a modern, cheap one) but I don't know how to sew. I guess I did make a gym bag once in junior high, so there's that....

Yes, both my husband and I have used our sewing machine quite a bit in the last two years!

No, I don't sew. If I need something sewed I have my mom do it.

I have needles, thread, buttons, pins, measuring tape, etc but no sewing machine. I go to my Mom's house, she lives pretty close by, and use hers if I need to. I took sewing lessons when I was younger (loved making matching outfits for me & my American girl dolls!), so I'm not bad at it. I'd like to get one before we have a LO so I can make Halloween costumes & stuff for the nursery

I have a sewing machine and all the tools (was my sisters) but I've never used it. I know how (extremely basic) but i've never sat down to actually make something, (not even curtains)

I have a sewing machine but I haven't used it in over 2 years! Maybe these little ones will motivate me to make something... anything! The DIY projects getting posted have made me think about doing something though!

I got it from my grandma when I was 12 and it's still going strong. I use it all the time!
I also have hand-sewing kit, lots of needles and thread. I am DIYing almost the entire nursery for my LO. -
Nope. I'm considering buying a cheap sewing machine to get me started. I would love to sew my own curtains and pillows.
