I used to always paint my nails, but now that I have a LO my nails are paint free.
I stopped when I saw chipped paint on my DD's head. -.-
I still paint my toes though!

I don't paint anything. Especially since I cut all my nails of when my LO came for fear of scratching her. I never painted my nails before though b/c it chips too easily. And now I'm just too lazy.

I have clear, non toxic polish on my nails, the or else I just buff them to make them shiny. I ALWAYS have my toes painted

Yes I always do. I get gel manis and regular pedis. I don't like my nails to be plain.

I paint my nails every Sunday. Weird, but Sunday is always a day off for me, so it is a routine.

Yes I do! Until I lost my job, I actually had fake nails, and miss them so much

My toes are always painted and my fingers are painted about 50% of the time.

I love to paint my nails, especially colors like lime green and orange.

I am really hard on my hands, so they are usually polish free. I've not had regular salon pedicures in a long time because the Europeans just don't do it like they do in America. I go at least twice though whenever I'm visiting!

My nails break really easily if they're not painted, so most of the time they are. I've been getting shellac on my hands every 3 weeks or so. I just get them cut short an use a light pink or clear and it lasts that long, sometimes longer, on me.
I love getting my toes painted/massage, so I try to do that at the same time. Especially since being horribly swollen with this pregnancy. It's one thing I can do to feel pretty.

No kids yet but my nails and toes are always painted. I have way too much nail polish. I'm a little obsessed

my toes are always painted (even in winter haha)... but only paint my nails when i get a manicure, which is usually on a special occasion.

no they chip too quickly because i was my hands so frequently. in the summer i get regular pedicures, but don't bother in the winter since i always wear uggs.

I rarely paint my nails. I love cooking and I always feel a good cook shouldnt have painted nails becuse sometimes it chips and goes into the food. Its probably harmless but I dont like to do it. I do paint my toe nails in the summer when they will be on display.

I have tried, I really do but I just can't seem to keep them nice. I'll inevitably smudge one immediately. The others will then start chipping within a day and I'll have a handful of ugly for a few days before the nail polish remover comes out.

If I'm feeling saucy, I'll paint my nails. I get frustrated because it takes so long to wait between coats and wait to dry. I always keep my toenails painted (even if the polish isn't exactly up-to-date...)

I get regular manicures and pedicures since moving into Manhattan as there is a place less than 1 block away fro m my apartment that is amazing and super cheap. Not sure how that will change once I have the baby - but my hope is that going to get my nails done will be my starting point for leaving the baby home with my husband. It will only be for 1 hour, I'm less than 1 block away, gives him time with the baby without me, etc....but still makes me super nervous, even though I know he is more than capable to take care of our little one.

I go fairly regularly, and considering my regular place is just downstairs from my husbands office I usually pop in for a visit then go get my nails done.

I always paint my toenails but never my fingernails. I'm just too rough on my hands so they always end up chipped, and I hate looking at chipped polish. The new UV polishes have me reconsidering though, I might have to try that at some point.

I usually have my toes painted. Last week I successfully painted my toes. I gotta say at 29 weeks pregnant, it was a little uncomfortable but glad I saved myself $20!

I paint my nails and then just let them chip away... I last got a pedicure in August for a wedding I was in, and I still have some polish on my big toe! Same with my fingernails-- painted them in late October and I still have some on my thumbnails. Not a good look!

No, I can't keep paint on them to save my life, I'm too rough on them. The paint also makes them too brittle, so I quit mostly because of that, secondary due to laziness.

I am going to try the gel nails on my hands and see how I fare. I love the look, but a polish only lasts me three days before I get chips!

Yep! It's my me-time activity that makes me feel girly in all of life's "busy" ness. I plan to upkeep post-babies too. It's my guilty pleasure.
I've been doing shellac/gel nails for the last year or so, but recently came across Essie's "Good to Go" top coat... and it's amazing on home manicures! No chips! No bedsheet lines!

I always paint my toes, but hardly ever have anything but clear on my fingers. I just like the look of plain nails on myself
grapefruit / 4355 posts
I always have polish on my toes but I only do my fingers when I get a real manicure (which isn't very often). I do a really simple soft pink with those manis.
