I usually only do it in the summer, but I just got a bunch of nail polish (on clearance) and now I want to see if I can keep it going.

It's never really cold where I live, so unless I'm wearing sneakers (rare unless I'm going to the gym), or have tights on under a dress, I never wear socks....and since I always take off my shoes inside my home/others' homes.....I feel like my toes need to be pretty.

Always, but I live in Southern California so you never know when it could be sandal weather in the middle of winter. Plus, what if you have to take your shoes off at someone else's house? That could be embarrassing (been there).

Yes, although I'm less concerned with upkeep during the winter. Even if no one sees them it's just a little bit more pretty in my life!

Just summer. I took off the last coat of nail polish about a week ago since it will be shoe+sock weather until next year. Also, the belly is starting to make it hard to do my own toes.

Always year round! I can't not have my toe nails painted. It makes me feel naked lol.

Yes, but only because I enjoy going and getting a pedicure every few weeks! It's more for the maintenance of my heels than for my toes!

I usually try to give my toes a "rest" from polish for a couple of months during the winter. DH hates it though and always asks me to paint my toes again...

No...most of the time I'm too lazy to paint them and I never have time to pay to have them done. I did however pick out some nail polish and paint my toes for my delivery tomorrow. I figured if I was going to look like crap, at least my feet could look nice up in the stirrups, lol.

I usually do, thought I get pedicures less often, so I have to do it myself. Not as pretty.

I like to give my toes a break and let them grow out fully without polish once a year. I still get pedicures though, but not with polish.

Yes! I wear flip flops all the time and we take off our shoes at home and I don't want to look at untainted nails

Year round because the weather is so great here that I can wear sandals year round! I can't remember the last time I had unpainted toes!
But I never paint my fingernails--can't keep up with the maintenance.

Yep! But I live in Florida. Although I have 100+ polishes and always had them painted while I was living up north, too

@bluestriped bee: I usually have bare toenails October through April. It doesn't get warm enough for sandals until April here.

Only in the summer because in Canada, nobody sees feet/toes from October through until May - it is too cold!

I always keep polish on my toenails. I don't like the look of are toenails. In the winter, I usually do my own and only get pedicures for special occasions where I will have on open toed heels. In the warmer months, I splurge on a professional pedi every 3-4 weeks
