I have the basic membership. If it worth it to pay the $45 for a year of the VIP membership? Why or why not?

I did not, because my chart was fairly easy to read anyway. If it had been more complicated and harder to figure out O, I might have been more tempted, but I really just wanted to see when I Oed and I could tell that with the basic.

I did after a few months of TTC, and was happy I did since it took longer for us- I was happy to take all the help I could get at that point. Their forums were pretty good too. If we don't have any luck in the next month or so, I think I'll pay for it again for planning #2. They usually have a discount on their facebook page too.

I paid for it... I honestly can't really remember why! I guess I was in a frantic pre-TTC excitement and so I went out and bought a bunch of books and the FF membership. I vaguely recall having some kind of Facebook discount, though.

I paid but we had been TTC for a while and I love charts and graphs

I paid, but there was (is?) a code you can get if you like it on Facebook. It was only $20. I don't think it's worth $45.

I paid for like, a 3 month subscription or something, but once it ran out I didn't renew it. The only thing I liked was that it put the DPO on your chart, and you could share more than 2 charts on your homepage. Oh, and it would tell you every cycle what your EDD would be. Fun stuff, but not worth the $$ IMO.

I forgot what I got with the paid membership but I did and it totally worked!!

I've gotten the free trial a few times, but I feel like it aids in symptom spotting (and the "pregnancy points" thing is absurd) so I'd rather not have it.

@Mrs.Someone: Yes--it's called "early pregnancy signs estimator." It takes the symptoms you punch in and gives them points based on others charts and pregnancy. So if you say you're gassy, your points that you might be pregnant go up! It totally feeds into the TWW craze.
I paid for it, but not the full $45. I like just knowing I have access to everything b/c if there's anything I can make easier in this process, I'll take it.

@Happygal: oh my gosh I would go crazy with baby points. I symptom spot enough I don't need another entity doing it for me. Now that time temping I like being able to see my chart.

@Sugar.Biscuit: I was the worst with FF my first cycle TTC. "Oh gosh, my points went up by 10; I must be pregnant!" There's some strange thing called the "Sign Cloud" (still not sure what that is), and you can compare your chart to others (not sure if that's a VIP or standard feature). I deliberately limited my time on FF during this TWW, which made things much, much better.
The pregnancy monitor, a VIP feature, has this: intercourse timing, total # of temperatures above cover line, top pregnancy signs, pregnancy test probability (when to test), spotting factor, early pregnancy signs, possible due date, and summary.

@Happygal: @Sugar.Biscuit: I was most un-sold on it when someone mentioned that if you get to the day AF is expected, it automatically puts you past the "you're likely pregnant" points number! Such a bad design on that one...

I paid for it, but not the full price. I found a special where it was $17 for the year.

I was positive I was going to be a roll over and decided last minute to pay for it. Then found out I was pregnant. Damn! So, now my account is on hold and I'll use it for a while after I get my cycles back. So annoyed at myself.

I paid! I really liked their advanced features like the pregnancy predictor and all that. It seemed worth it to me. $45 a year is only like $3.50 or $4 a month.

@Mrs.Someone: I agree that it would aid TWW craziness, and I didn't need any help in that department, thanks. The pregnancy points thing was ridiculous.
@.twist.: Wouldn't you rather have paid for it, then gotten your BFP, than not getting your BFP yet and getting your money's worth?

@Foodnerd81: hahaha absolutely! I can just be so impatient sometimes that if I would have waited 2 days I wouldn't have had to pay for it! At least it's there for when I need it again. Not a total loss!
