19 months old and started preschool at 18 months. He was in daycare but it was a SAHM friend so he want around many kids. So we did it for socialization.

Yes, we will put LO in preschool part time (2 or 3 half days per week) when she's 4, but not before then. Whilst I know it works for a lot of families, I personally am against the idea of school before the age of 4 for my children. I'm fortunate enough to be a SAHM and I want to spend those formative years with my children, not putting them in school unnecessarily (in my view). I know socialisation is important, but I think there are many other ways a children can learn socialisation skills without being in a formal education setting.

Now if we had to put LO in day care because I had to work, it would probably be a different situation, but as it is now, no, we will not put her preschool until she's 4, and even then, it will be half days, a couple of days per week.
