DW's birthday is coming up and this year I had a very specific idea what she wanted, and so I mentioned it so we can go to the shop and let her try on a few different versions, to pick the one that suits her best. I know some SOs prefer to be surprised on their birthday, though. What's your preference?

I like being surprised but only if I don't know there's a surprise coming. DH told me a few days ago that he had plans for my birthday (well, for this weekend, when he's not working) and then asked if I wanted to know. It made me crazy because I want to be legit surprised....I don't like the anticipation of waiting for it (says the gal that was Team Green...)

I love being surprised, but if I have an inkling that there is a surprise coming, or if I get any hints on what it is, I go crazy trying to figure it out and it takes away some of the enjoyment for me. I'm too curious for my own good! Luckily Dh is really good at coming up with really surprising surprises!
