We will have hardwoods in the main living area, but carpet in the rooms.

We have wood everywhere in the house but where we have area rugs I LOVE it. I secretly would love to have carpet everywhere but it just doesnt look as nice IMO and its easier to clean wood.

Wood floors with flat weave area rugs.

I hate wall to wall carpet! It is almost always made of terrible substances & it holds nasty dirt. I will confess that sometimes I think it would be nice on my feet in the winter, but I love that we have all wood floors (other than kitchen & bath, those are tile).

I like carpet in the bedrooms and wood in the living areas.

I like dark wood everywhere!! Even bedrooms Then you can get gorgeous rugs for rooms.

I prefer wood for the look, but carpet for the noise muffling. Wood floors makes everything 10x louder I feel!

I prefer tile actually, it is so cool here in the summer!

I prefer wood floors in every room. The foyer, kitchen, bathrooms, and family room are the only rooms without hardwood in the house.

We have all carpet in our apartment. Hardwood is a MUST HAVE when we buy
