I'm a very casual person, so normally I don't want to deal with getty all fancied up. But I'm going to a super fancy wedding at the Ritz Carlton next weekend and I'm pretty excited for it. I'm looking forward to getting dressed up, doing my hair and makeup, eating a nice meal, and sharing a slow dance with DH.

Aw, fun! Sometimes they're fun but they're a lot of work to get ready for!! I think I'm on the fence about the two. Either way, you're going to a wedding, so you'll get dressed up. A fancy one is maybe more fun because you never get to wear super fancy clothes like you do to a super fancy wedding!

I prefer casual but just ONCE in my life I would like to get invited to a super fancy black tie affair. One that I have to go buy a long cocktail dress for!

Around my area very fancy weddings are far and few in between! I've never been to a black tie wedding but would love too sometime! I love getting all dressed up.

I prefer casual. I like looking at pictures of really formal weddings and think they're beautiful...but I would much rather go to a casual wedding.

It is fun to be fancy once in a while, but we are very casual people, so our wedding was very relaxed. I do like to go to fancy things sometimes, but am most comfortable in relaxed situations.

The majority of the weddings we attend are fancy, so I love a casual wedding that reflects the couple. Actually, I like any wedding that reflects the couple. A fancy wedding for a fancy couple would be just as cute to me as a casual wedding for a casual couple.

I prefer a fancy wedding. UNLESS it's the dead of summer. It's just cruel to ask people to put on tuxes and ball gowns when it's 90 degrees out!

I like having a reason to get all prettied up. I've only ever been to one black-tie wedding, it was black-tie optional though so I wore a black cocktail dress. I made sure my friend was wearing a knee-length dress too so I wasn't the only one
