We find king too big! We both hug the edge when we sleep and king felt like we were in separate beds.

King. Go big or go home!
We bought a king when we bought our house 3 years ago. Whenever we sleep in a queen now DH says "I can't believe we ever had a queen!" A king is awesome especially for the end of pregnancy and when you have a baby. We do not co sleep but we did lots of family cuddling when DS was tiny and it was great to have all the space we needed.

My MIL says that she hates sleeping in a king bed because she likes to cuddle with my FIL. That's the worst excuse ever- you can still cuddle in a king! We cuddle, then GTFO of that business, because we like our space.

DH and I were always ok with queen or even full size, but with pregnancy, LO, nursing, and co-sleeping, I'd give anything for a king. I think if you have room for it, king would be awesome.

When we upgraded a few years ago, DH really pushed for a king sized bed. I was on the fence about it, but now I'm so glad we have the king! When I was near the end of my pregnancy I took up a lot of space with all my pillows and there was still plenty of room for DH. DD also ends up in our bed a lot, but with the size of it it's no big deal at all. Go for the king!

We had a Full up until about 2 weeks ago. The mattress needed to be replaced and since we now have more space, we upgraded to a King. I think a Queen would have been fine too, but with kids the extra space is nice. We don't co sleep except when absolutely necessary (sick, teething) and I feel safer with more space for LO.

We bought a king before our son was born and it was by far the best decision we've ever made! I sleep soooo much better plus my son ended up in our bed most nights. You can't put a price on a good nights sleep!!!

Before I had a child, I loved to cuddle with my husband. Most nights we would fall asleep spooning blissfully.
Pregnancy made it difficult to sleep well. Then having an infant messed with my sleep. Then various parts of my body hurt in various ways for a long time postpartum. Then the 18mo sleep regression hit, and our toddler landed in bed with us almost every night for 2-3 months.
With so many factors messing with my sleep, I completely lost interest in spooning my way to sleep. It became Yet Another Barrier to decent sleep.
We got a king sized bed around 18mos, largely at my husband's insistence due to my sleep issues. The extra space really helped.
My parents always had (and still have) a queen, so I always thought a king was an unnecessary luxury. But now I am so relieved and it has made a big difference in my ability to sleep.

I just figured that if I was going to spend a bunch of money buying a new bed, why not spend a little more and go for the king? We're really cuddly sleepers, and I've never regretted it. Between the kid who comes to snuggle most nights, the other baby who coslept for her first 5 months, and the multiple dogs, we fill it up. And even if we didn't, we'd just snuggle up in the middle.

I think a queen is sufficient. We both like to cuddle. Last weekend we shared a roll away twin bed, and it was fine for us. We don't like to co-sleep, but when we do, it does get a little crowded.

You will not regret getting a king as long as you have the space for it. I tried to convince my friend to get one when she was single and she didn't listen to me since the queen setup was cheaper and 6 months later when her new boyfriend (now husband) moved in she admitted to me that she wished she had listened!

DH and I slept on a queen for about 4 years. It was plenty for us, even when we needed some space. We continued sleeping on a queen when our first born started co-sleeping with us. We upgraded to a King and it's still not big/enough room for us because our son is almost 3 and we still co-sleep. AND he's a heavy roller when he sleeps. So even though we have a king, I'm sleeping on like 4" of the very edge of the bed. Therefore, king is a must for us. I hate sleeping on a queen when we all sleep together because he's getting so big and while he sleeps just fine, DH and I don't sleep a wink since there's always some body part of DS in/on us. lol
