If it's a beautiful day, eating outside can be so wonderful! Especially if it's brunch, for some reason.
If it's humid and hot, or there's no shade, it can be less ideal though. So for me, the answer depends on the temperature and comfort level available outside. And how well-behaved the kids are acting that day!
Do you prefer to sit inside or outside at restaurants?

Inside. I hate being hot while I eat and it makes me crazy to have flies or birds all around me.

Depends on the weather and sun exposure. If I have to wear my sunglasses outside I rather eat inside. People watching is so much more fun outside.

I almost always prefer to be outside but hubs HATES to be hot when he eats so this is a constant battle for us.

Very rarely do we choose to eat outside. But as I say this, I can't wait til we build our deck so we can eat outside at home!!!

We prefer to have our dog with us, so we are usually outside. Now we've been taking advantage of not having a dog and sitting inside because of the heat...... but I'd much rather be outside with a pup

Inside. It has to be exactly the right weather conditions for me to enjoy sitting outside. It can't be too hot or too cold, too humid, too buggy, and it can't be windy! So inside is the preferred choice!

As long as it isn't too hot, outside. DH isn't a fan though, so we usually end up inside.

It totally depends. The temperature, wind, and bugs can all play a big factor in choosing. DH and I had an awesome meal outside yesterday though...it was the perfect day for it!

Inside! Unless the weather is absolutely perfect...as in not too hot, not too cold, not windy, not buggy...yea, doesn't happen very often

There are only about 3 months out of the year here where eating outside would even be an option. However, the kids do much better outside when we do sit outside.

Depends on the weather for me also. If it's pretty out, no humidity, not too hot, no bugs in the summer, not windy, etc., we'll sit outside. Otherwise, we normally sit inside.

I love eating outside, but mosquitoes eat me alive every time. It doesn't matter how much bug spray I have on or how many citronella candles are lit!

I love dining al fresco, weather permitting! It's one of the reasons I definitely want an indoor/outdoor dining space in the new house!
