I use clips too. Depending on what it is I transfer stuff into containers/ziploc bags too.

I use them on anything which will go state (like crisps), or anything which will spill easily and messily (like sugar). In the freezer if its something like a bag of peas I will just fold over!
I find the clips seem to disappear and I am always running out!

Always clips. I have a ton, they're magnetized and on the side of the fridge.

Yep, pretty much everything that can't close on its own. We live in a pretty humid climate so if we don't clip they go stale. We also have a dry case (the kind they put cameras in) but we put food in there. It's common for people to use that for food here. It really keeps it fresh! I've had horribly expired (and forgotten) gold fish crackers in there that was still crunchy 10 months after the expiration date...

We use cloths pins on chips and crackers. For cereal, I usually put it in a airtight container.

I use the ikea clips.

I live in a dry climate so nothing ever really goes stale or soggy like they would if I was in a more humid place. Freezer stuff I sometimes fold, sometimes tape down, and sometimes repackage into a ziplock. It just depends! For stuff like bread I have to be careful to close and seal--just leaving the bag open for a few hours turns it rock-solid!
