When DD was younger I started to try for 1 nap a day in crib around 8 weeks?! Maybe??
At night she slept in PNP in our room!
Now at 14 months all naps and night sleep are in crib!

DD is almost 7 months and has been in her crib for all naps (except car naps) and nighttime since 7 weeks old. I never put her in there to play bc I want it to be associated with sleep only.

Most naps & all night time sleep. He'll nap on me if we're out but I try to get two crib naps a day (he's still taking 3 naps). He used to nap well with me if I needed some rest too but it seems like those days are over!

Same as @Tidybee: Except it's been since 8 weeks. Before that he slept at night in our room and I tried for at least one nap a day in the crib starting at about three weeks. Even if the crib nap only lasted like ten minutes I swaddled him and put him in there just to build the association.

She's in the crib for all naps and nighttime. I want her to associate the crib with sleep and nothing else.

At 3 months, she takes some naps in the crib and all night sleep. If she is overtired, we will let her fall asleep snuggling us and then move her when she is deeply asleep. As her naps consolidate, we plan to have her nap solely in the crib.

LO was in crib for nighttime sleep since forst night home from the hospital. Started doing all 3 naps in the crib at 4 months.
Now at 16 months I sometimes put him in there during the day for 5-10 mins when I need to do a chore or something, if he's already calm he doesn't mind it.

All naps and nighttime sleep is in his crib. He will now wake up and play for awhile, but didn't like being put there when I needed to shower or do something solo. We didn't want to associate it with his feeling abandoned or upset, so I stopped that pretty early.

DD started overnighting in the crib around 9w. We started doing the weekend naps in the crib after she was FT at daycare (4mos). Until she was able to really STTN (7pm-7am) she did the first stretch at night in the swing (7pm-9pm), then into the crib.
We still used the swing periodically until she as about 8mos, maybe 9mos?
We used the crib a bit as a "safe zone" when K was mobile and could open doors...we have no baby gate at our stairs so if we were upstairs and needed her safely confined we'd plunk her in the crib for 5-15 mins...

Naps and bedtime. Well, and I toss her in there for a few minutes in the morning while I'm picking out her outfit, and again in the evening when I'm grabbing her pajamas and setting up her humidifier. She plays happily while she waits for me. I have tried setting her on the floor while I'm doing that stuff but she finds something to get into in no time.
