Yes I do, I feel like sometimes after reading the post I might not have the greatest input so I don't say anything!

@maybebaby: I read lots of posts too! I appreciate all the HB moms that share so much valuable information so every time they start a thread, I try to reply as much as I can.

I woudl say yes, I don't always have anything to add. Plus I was shy about posting at first.

Yes; I don't reply if my reply is the same as a lot of people's, or if I am not relevant to the actual discussion but I like to read a lot of the posts to learn different things!

Yes! I'm trying to be better. I feel weird replying when there's already a bunch of responses and I don't really have anything unique to say.

I definitely read a lot more than I post bc I might not have a new point of view to add, or if it's a controversial or heated topic, I won't post bc I don't feel the need to argue my point of view with people online

@Tidybee: Yup. This. It's hard to type long responses on my phone and I'm usually reading while nursing or giving a bottle so I don't have both hands free anyways.

I've learned so much from this community (both useful now and in the future!) and I'm really thankful for it. There are a lot of wonderful parents here and I hope someday I can add to the community and be a resource as well.

Yep. Sometimes I don't feel like I have much valuable to add or have time to put together a thoughtful response. Also, I often look back at old threads for advice or info.

I do. I don't often like to repost the same answer if 50 people already said it, unless they're going for a high number of responses for some reason

Yep! For many of the same reasons as pp. It also depends on my energy level a.k.a. if baby is sleeping well that day or not I should post more often though… it's more fun to be involved!

For sure. When I don't contribute it's usually because a. I have the same question as the OP, b. I'm just curious, c. Whatever I have to add has already been said numerous times.

For sure, and for lots of reasons. I don't like replying from my phone. DH is fairly private and so wouldn't want me sharing too much personal info. And sometimes I just don't have anything nice to say Usually though, I'm agree with the others and I don't want to beat a dead horse.

Yes. I always read HB when I'm nursing and I am horrible with typing on my phone. Am trying to post more and be a helpful bee when I can!

Yes, mainly because I'm usually on my phone and typing can be difficult. If I can get on the laptop, I reply to much more.
