I haven't read any books on parenting yet. I figure that my parents did a good job without reading any so I will try my best to follow their style. But if something comes up and I feel like I need some specialized knowledge to deal with a particular situation then that might be a different story. And my LO is still young and it really isn't all that complicated at the moment. My instincts seem to be enough for now. How about you?

With two little girls in the house, I started reading the book, "Sibling Rivalry"... and by "started" I mean, am on page 5 when I bought it a few months ago. Too busy!!

I haven't read anything yet. I have what to expect the first year, but only refer to it for specific issues, no time to read the whole thing. And if I have questions I'll usually just ask on here or look at babycenter.com.

I read "Raising Cain" and I highly recommend it for anyone with a son. I also read "oneness and separateness" about a child's development of his/her independence starting from birth. I recommend both and don't think everything is intuitive.... But I really love researching and learning about everything!!

Oh I am addicted to parenting books. I am big into self-help books for my own personal and professional development, so I guess it's just more of the same!

@MrsH: I'm a little old school... I don't have an iPad. I like reading the actual magazine.
