We were so good at recycling when our old apartment complex offered a recycling center. At our current home they do not offer that, so we are not as good with recycling. We live in MI so we return cans for .10 but I would really like to start recycling again. How good are you about recycling?

We got recycling pick-up with our trash pick-up, so recycling is very easy & we're pretty good at it. Before we got a roommate & started having a billion relatives visiting the baby we always had more recycling than trash.

We're pretty good now. We have recycling pickup every second week, so as long as were diligent about taking it out it's easy. Sometimes we just get lazy about it though.

Pretty good. Our recycling center is right down the street so we'll walk there every month or so with our goods.

We are pretty good, but it's not convenient. I have to take it to my moms house since she has curbside pickup and I don't. There was a vote in my neighborhood on recycling and it did not pass! I was bummed.

Yeah, we're decent. We have bi-weekly pick-ups, and it's one of those where you just dump all your stuff in and they sort it...wherever they sort it. For as easy as it is, we could be a lot better. I've found that our stupid Amazon corrugated boxes take up most of the room in the bin though!

@Bao; the 10 cent deposit sucks when you purchase but it is wonderful when you are low on cash.
We recycle at our current location, it makes me feel better at the end of the day.

our state recently started taking back just about ANYTHING. it's awesome. we're really good about it (well I am - DH throws things away and drives me crazy!). I have the two bins in our back hallway, so it's easy to just toss as I go instead of piling up to bring outside or something.

Yes, we recycle. It's also the law, our landlord can be fined (and has been in the past) if the refuse is not separated properly. We made the mistake of throwing some junk mail in the regular trash and our former landlord got fined. Oops!

We are very diligent about it. In the town where we live, we have a pay-as-you-go garbage pickup, and you have to pay $2/garbage can to get it taken away on garbage day. Recycling, however, is free
We always have way more recycling than garbage. It has been a great for forming good habits!

Not recycling isn't really an option!
Recycling and compost picked up weekly (any amount), garbage just every other week, and 2 bag maximum.

We recycle mostly just because they come pick it up every week. We usually have a ton more recycling stuff than actual trash. Of course, we compost a lot of stuff too, so that helps.
We always have way more recycling than garbage. It has been a great for forming good habits!
