DH didn't know how until after we met and I introduced him to Asian food!

I am 25 and I use chopsticks best by throwing one away and using the other one to stab my food and eat it like a kabob.

I don't remember, since I probably used it since I was young!
A lot of us "native" chopstick users actually don't even hold them correctly! Everyone has their little variations.

I don't use them properly, and the irony is that my parents used to own a restaurant named Chopsticks...

2nd grade, in class. The teacher gave us popcorn to practice on and took my chopsticks away from me because I kept trying to use them while he was giving us directions and history.

My mom and aunts were born in South Korea, so Korean food has always been a part of my life. I don't remember learning, but I am sure I was pretty young. My grandmother taught my husband (then bf) the first time I took him to meet her (at a Korean restaurant).

My husband taught me he took me on our 2nd date to sushi. He made me eat our entire 3-course meal with only chopsticks. I got the hang of it fast. I was 19.
