Man I read that book over and over... I was so proud of myself haha.
Do you remember the first book you ever read?

@mrbee: haha! That's ok... it was probably one of my first ones too!
I have no idea! Can't remember that far back... I started reading at age 2 according to my mom. Probably one of my brother's books.

@mrbee: I think I did it just to spite my brother. I remember him getting ready for a spelling bee and I would proudly spell all the words he got wrong right after he got them wrong. He was 3 grades above me!!

I have no idea! That would be cool to know though.
I was obsessed with a book called Umbrella Parade where the different animals have different umbrellas. I still have my childhood copy

I don't remember. I do remember the first chapter book I read was Mrs. Piggle Wiggle in first grade. I loved that book!

I remember reading signs in the car and being so excited about this new world. I don't remember the specific book, but it was some kind of phonics book I took home in a little bag.
ETA: my mom, a long-time school teacher, insists we were all reading before we went to K, but I don't remember that!
