I always wondered if anyone follows these instructions from the shampoo bottle?

Only if it's been a few days and my hair is REALLY greasy! Then I'll wash it twice! Otherwise, no.

Never. Maybe they just want you to use more of the product so that you'll buy it more often!

No. They just started putting that on shampoo bottles to sell more shampoo.

@Mae: when I was in beauty school, they said it was actually because the first shampoo gets off exterior gunk and grime and the second shampoo gets deep into the cuticles. However, that was also almost 10 years ago.

Very rarely I'll use shampoo twice if I don't feel clean enough after one go.
I think companies only put those instructions on their bottle to try and trick people in to using more of their product lol.

Definitely not, unless I am just washing my hair with conditioner. Then I like to do it twice, as if I used shampoo first.

Apparently I'm the odd one out, because I do, every time! I have a very detailed shower routine haha.

Very rarely, when my hair feels super grimy. I dye my hair red so I try to wash it a few times per week as I can get away with, without being gross. Dry shampoo is my best friend.
I always notice my hair fades quickly after the first couple of washes immediately after getting it dyed.

No, because I don't use a lot of hair product, so my hair is clean.

Nope. Too much shampoo can really strip your hair down and cause it to be dry and gross.
@PointeShoesTutus: Hey fellow wannabe redhead sister! lol. I find using a sulfate-free shampoo has really helped my red stay bright. I use the L'Oreal EverPure color care one.

Nope! Unless I do it on accident because I can't remember if I washed my hair already or not. Maybe that's just with conditioner... I don't know! LOL!

Not usually. Maybe once or twice a year if my hair was really yucky to begin with?

Does it really say to "rinse and repeat"? haha I've never noticed, therefore I've never done it.
