When it comes to food, I do. If we get a mixed bag of chips or candy, I always eat the ones I like the least, first, so that it leaves me with my favorites. This all goes out the window if DH gets a hold of it.

I do that too. If there's a plate of food, I save my most favorite for last. Though, lately it's changed a bit because my husband will just grab things off my plate. So, now I sometimes eat what I like first.

Yes, I do that too. I also save a "perfect bite" on my plate. Like if I'm having a thanksgiving meal for example, I will save a little turkey, mashed potato and gravy for that last bite.

I have a hard time doing that. I like to eat all the wonderful things first, then I'm stuck with things I don't love as much. I have a problem with instant gratification.

@Chastenet: My sister builds her entire meal around the "perfect bite." It takes her ages to eat because she creates the perfect bite for EACH bite!
I don't quite go to that extreme, but I absolutely save the best for last. In fact, I usually eat in ascending order - least favorite to most favorite on the plate.

I definitely don't save the best for last. I'm a dessert first kind of girl when possible.

@Chastenet: Exactly-- save a perfect bit for last!
DH doesn't get it and has gotten into trouble when he eats my last bite. He can have any bite while I'm eating, but you do NOT take the last bite.

I ALWAYS save the best for last!! The sucky thing is that sometimes by the end, I'm already full so I can't enjoy that last bite to the fullest.
And I love creating the perfect bite! I can't just eat the protein by itself. I always need to eat it with some of the carb in the same bite. DH likes to save his protein for last, and it's just a pile of meat and doesn't look appetizing to me!!

Yes! I always save the perfect bite for last. Once, when we were dating, DH took the perfect bite off of my plate, and I got so mad. It's now know as "the incident."

@Weagle: LOL! DH did that to me in regards to a piece of pie. He has since learned to not even attempt to take my last bite.

I definitely save the best for last! So does DH. That's how I can tell which part of the meal he likes least haha
