I'm from Quebec. When I lived in the states for a year, I got weird looks like I said something absurd when I said:
Duo-tang
All dressed pizza
"Z" pronounced the Canadian way
Terrasse - enunciated the French way but I grew up thinking it was an English word
Now I live in Ontario and I have had to repeat or "correct" myself when I've said :
Deppanneur (corner store)
Metro (instead of subway)
I also say "interac" machine (as in ATM) but can't remember if that is a Quebec or Canadian thing.

@photojane: HAHA glad I'm not alone, I think it had to be one of our daycare teachers or something because all 3 of us do it, but not my parents! haha

@imbali: a duo-tang is a type of folder where you put holes and keep the papers in.
All dressed pizza is pizza with pepperoni, mushroms, and green pepper. That was one i had NO clue was not a common term until i was on my internship in the states and we were deciding to order pizza and i offered to pick it up. My supervisor told me what toppings and i said "so I should get 2 all-dressed and 1 pepperoni?" And he really thought i said something crazy and i totally did not get the joke.
i found this link after you commented:

From Pennsylvania here! I say hoagie and cheesesteak. It's my understanding that it's a steak and cheese elsewhere. At least a friend of mine from Boston makes fun of me for saying cheesesteak instead of steak and cheese!
The further into Philadelphia I go, I hear wooter instead of water. That's a funny Philly thing though!

I'm from Long Island and now live in New England so I say a lot of things weird - it's a heron or a sub or grinder, and I say Ant not Aunt

@Shutterbug: my Dad grew up in MA, so I mimic a lot of words like he says them - my hs friends always ragged on me for rum/room! my argument was that rum and room (even pronounced rrrruum) did not sound the same!
btw, a water fountain is actually a bubbler
