Soda! We're from New England, but we just moved to the Midwest. It pains me to the core to realize that DD will probably grow up saying "pop". It just sounds so wrong to me!

If you call them all cokes what happens if you want a Pepsi? I'm from NY and I say soda. Where I went to school in western NY there would be big fights about whether it's pop or soda, haha.

I'm from Georgia and I say coke or soda. Like @MrsHotDog: mentioned, if you ask someone for a coke, they usually reply by asking what kind you would like. Most places in Georgia sell Coke products.

We say pop - when I lived in north carolina for a while everyone thought I was crazy and would just stare at me. Same with when I asked where the washrooms are
