I've always said goodbye and give her a kiss. I've already told her where I'm going and when I'll be back but when I give her a kiss I'll tell her again if she seems concerned.
The other parents in LO 2 year old preschool all sneak out and both DH and my parents always try to shoo me away if they're babysitting and I go over to say goodbye.
It seems to work better for her though to have that time where she says bye bye but it seems like that's not the case for most kids.

I say goodbye. I don't want my LO to think that it's possible I will disappear when she loses sight of me. I want to reinforce the *I go away but always come back* thought process.

I have to sneak away. Some weeks, he's totally fine with me leaving. Other weeks, like this week, he's not and doing the whole separation anxiety thing.

A quick good bye and then off I go. Don't linger for fear of tears. It's better now though now that he likes school again.

She handles goodbyes pretty good. She gives me kiss, and then eskimo kiss, & then waves bye bye. I don't linger though, I just say "bye sweetie, mommy will be back soon" give hugs and kisses and exit even if she's upset. Lingering makes it worse I think.

DS is 6 months so can't really tell which will be better for him later on, but as of right now, I tell him bye, mommy loves him, kiss, then leave.

If I am leaving her for the day I always say goodbye and give her a kiss. If I am leaving to run a quick errand while she is home with Daddy I will sneak away because she won't even notice that I am gone.

It totally depends on the day! There are days we get there and I can hardly get her attention, let alone a kiss and a wave goodbye! Other days she is clingy and we have to have fun to get her to let go, or take a few extra minutes before she is okay with me walking away.

I try to sneak away, but it doesn't work. She usually screams when I leave despite me telling her I love her and I will be back. Poor her

All the aunts and uncles would tell is to sneak away, but I think it's better for my LO if we say goodbye. If we leave without saying goodbye, then he will constantly ask where we are.

I always say good-bye. Even if she cries, it's important for her to understand that I always come back when I leave.

She does so much better when I just sneak away, if she sees me going she throws a fit. She doesn't even cry when she doesn't notice me leaving. The only exception is the nursery at church, I always hug and kiss her and tell her bye there and she is always okay with it.

I say bye and tell her I'll be back. She does better that way than if I just disappear.
