I only use months until two years old and then I just say, "two, three" etc. I can't keep track of months after two years old, it becomes too much math
Do you refer to your LO in months or just by year?

After two, I stopped using months. Now I'll say 2, 2.5, almost 3, haha.

Only in months up until 18 months and then it switches to years. I know it's silly but this is one of my pet peeves.

At 18 mo, it depends who I'm talking to. Mostly I say she's a year and a half (I've been saying that for a while now and will for a few more months). But if I'm talking to another mom with kids around the same age I use months.

After 2 I say years. Even at 1 year I have to pause and do the counting in my head before answering lol.

Not after 2. I forget how many months he is. He's about 2 1/2.

I don't like it because then I feel like I have to do math! I just say by year now that she is 2.

No, I say almost 4 and 2.5 for my toddlers and I still use weeks for the baby.

For now DD is only 5.5 months but once she hits 18 months, I'll switch to years.

She'll be 18 months next week, so I've started saying "one and a half" when people ask. With fellow moms I use months, though.

I say he's one and a half (he's 20 months). If it's a mom with a similarly-aged child I'll sometimes use months. It makes me majorly eye roll when people are like "he's 32 months."

Only for the baby. Like someone asked today and I said 14 months. I often wonder if they really care and would just prefer one? lol

By a year and a half I was having a hard time remembering anyway! I definitely go by year!

Started going by years when she was almost 2. But if it's someone with a similar ages kid I will say 2 and a quarter, or she turned two in July, since there is a big difference between just turned two and about to be three. To strangers, I say 2.

I have here a few times when I felt like it was relevant but otherwise I just 2. I'm with you, too much math
