Nothing that I've actually seen. I have seen a few Dump Trump stickers on cars though. I heard an NPR story about a rally near my IL's at the Sun City near Hilton Head.

My MIL actually made a (in my opinion uneducated) comment about why she liked him. We have a good relationship and I'm the only liberal in the bunch, I held my tongue but MAN IT WAS HARD!

Yes, I know quite a few IRL who would vote for him and according to fb, mostly everyone from my small hometown supports him.
From what I gathered from observing most people are all into the idea that he speaks his mind and that he's not a politician.
We are in Ohio which scares me because we are such an important swing state (usually).

I don't see any signs or bumper stickers in western WA! I do see "F*ck Trump" signs often though

There's a giant Trump sign at this place right where I get off the highway. DH and I joke about asking the place next door if we could put up an even bigger Bernie sign, lol. I also see some signs in NH. We live right on the border, but it's like a different world up there.

@LibbyLou: Ugh, that's something I see people say about Trump all the time, "He speaks his mind!" Yeah, sure, he says whatever he wants whenever it's convenient for him. But they shouldn't ascribe any kind of bravery to him. The fact that he's boycotting the debate shows he's a coward who is too afraid to try to answer legitimate questions. Instead, he calls Megyn Kelly a "bimbo" and refuses to show, like a child. And I don't even like Megyn Kelly all that much, but I'm offended by the word choice!

Unfortunately a lot if my area, but I'm in a rural part of Georgia. And a few members of my family will vote for him, my father included . We've butted heads over it and I have resorted to sending articles about the crazy that is Trump to his email. I'm so disappointed.

I live in NC and in our neighborhood - one house had a Trump sign and another house had a Clinton sign. Both took them down awhile ago. I think of all the candidates I see the most bumper stickers for Bernie Sanders.

We are just outside Boston and shockingly I have seen a sign in a neighboring town.

@sarac: I miss living on the west side of the state! DH and I feel like we're stuck in some crazy episode of the Twilight Zone over here - lol.

My husband found out that our next door neighbor is a Trump supporter in their first conversation. I live in the south, so.....

I live in a metro area of NC and haven't seen a lot of Trump support here, but I know it's definitely elsewhere in NC.
This Trump thing has been baffling me for months. I just.don't.get it. How is he this popular with no political experience and the atrocious things he says? "WTF?!" is a daily thing for me and I seriously don't want to know what this country will look like if he gets voted in.

My 85 year old grandfather is a big fan. My great aunt calls him "The Donald" which I think is funny.

I've seen one pickup truck with a Trump sticker. That same truck also drives around with a Confederate flag hanging from the back, so.... yeah.

St Louis, I haven't seen anything here yet either. My boss talks about him and supports some of his BS, but I know she's not planning to vote for him (she's a Rubio supporter).

DH is a supporter. I haven't seen much else though besides him. I am not sure if ultimately he will vote for him though.

I'm in the Pacific Northwest ... all I see in our area is support for Bernie Sanders. Funny enough, I do believe that most of Oregon is rather conservative, but Portland is SUPER liberal.

My mom has two jobs with a lot of customer interaction, and she encounters them some. We live in the South, so I expected more really, but so far I think she's only had 2 that brought it up.

I'm in Iowa, so if you've watched the news at all, there are unfortunately a lot of Trump supporters here. Outside of my grandpa though, I don't personally know any supporters. Lots of Rubio love... and Sanders on the dem side!

@coopsmama: but idahoans have no use for his flair. I think they'd be more likely to vote for someone honest and hard working. Trump is too east coast.

I feel like he probably has a lot of "in the closet" supporters who like him but wouldn't admit to wanting to vote for him.

@OhCaptain: You're absolutely correct about that. Everyone out here seems to be pro Ben Carson or Rand Paul.

I live in Texas (but in a major city) and haven't seen much. Surprisingly, I saw a ton of Carson bumper stickers before he dropped out -- surprising because I expect tons of Cruz support here. That said, one of the families at daycare is - I only know because she posts and 'likes' things on Facebook, but it is super awkward.
On the other hand, we are having local representative elections, and the rhetoric I'm seeing in their mailers is scary. Both republican candidates for state rep. are trying to be the "most conservative" and their mailers are covered with pictures of tanks and guns.

Nope. Less than 5% of the people in my city are registered GOP voters.
That said, I bet my dad will vote for him.
eggplant / 11824 posts
I don't personally, but I live in a more liberal area of the state. I'm sure there are Trump supporters in the more rural/conservative area (and in my area too, they just don't advertise it or I don't see the advertisement!)
I think Monday (IA) is going to be so interesting! People can tell pollsters whatever they want (and often what they tell pollsters doesn't align with how they actually vote), but Monday things will start to get real!
pomelo / 5220 posts
No, but I live in Boston so I wouldn't expect there to be any. I just keep asking myself "who are these supporters?!" cause I don't know any. I guess I am also scared to even ask my southern relatives because political discussions with them are no bueno.

I live in Canada and Trump is a laughingstock up here.
They're trying to get his name removed from the hotel.

The head of my county's GOP just endorsed him! I live in a blue city in a blue state, but the county's red and it's Trump's home state so...

I'm in TN and I've seen a few bumper stickers for him and Ben Carson. I've also seen a few Bernie yard signs but nothing for any other candidates actually.

I'm in Canada, and we're watching in AMAZEMENT, and I know a lot of people who kind of want to see it happen for pure entertainment value.... however, we realize that everything the US does affects us in some way, so realistically this would be a very bad idea.
