I like sending out Christmas cards to our family and friends, and I also enjoy designing them, usually with a picture of our family on them. I noticed the websites I use to create the cards have other holidays available like Thanksgiving, Valentine's Day, New Year's and others. Do you ever send cards for holidays other than Christmas? If not, have you received cards for other holidays? I get that it might not be something you would send to an acquaintance, but maybe a close family member or friend.

I used to be better about sending cards more often, but haven't been in recent years.
I have one cousin who sends cards for just about any holiday. We usually hear from her once a month. I used to like to do the same thing but just fell out of habit.

We send out holiday cards (like with family photo) for Christmas. But I like to send greeting cards to my nephews for birthdays, Easter and Halloween (if I remember ahead of time).
Oh, staples deal for the win $10 for 50 cards with envelopes and you can submit it online and pick it up the next day. It's great.

Yes if I get a deal from Shutterfly for a deal. But I only send out 15-20 to close friends and relatives- I did this for Valentines Day. We send 125 Christmas cards.

@youboots: I'm a sucker for those Shutterfly deals. I'm always buying mugs, calendars and other items that I don't really need, but they make great gifts.

I never was a card sender until 5 years ago when I got a great system to remind me of everyone's birthdays and anniversaries. So now I not only send Christmas cards, I send cards for every holiday and life cycle events. I am self employed and have been sending cards to clients and prospects. It has grown my biz to the point where all my new clients come 100% from inbound referrals! I credit the system I bought for changing my life for the better and sending real greeting cards has become easy peasy for me and my friends who have copied what I do.
