This weekend will be the first weekend of the season that I'll be able to head down to the NC State Farmer's Market. I can't wait! They always have the most delicious selection of fruits and vegetables and...it's strawberry season!! That means huge containers of them will be coming home with me. My favorite (and ridiculously expensive) bakery shows up, as well. I always have to get a big hunk of bread from them.

Yep! Not all the time, but we love going down to Eastern Market for their flowers in Springtime and we make sure to get some fresh, organic fruits/veggies while we're there... we usually head down at least a few times during the spring/summer.

Nope bc their hours of operation are normally during our working hours on the weekend. When we're on vacation, and there's a farmers market nearby, I always stop by and indulge.

occasionally we do, but for the past 4 years we've been getting our summer produce via farm-shares/csa's--you pay one lump sum in early spring, and then get a weekly supply of veggies throughout the season. it's a similar concept, in that you're supporting the local farmers and getting fresh produce, but you don't get as much choice. we've learned to eat some things we never would have tried before--like garlic scapes, which are awesome!

From time to time. We do have a CSA share that we split with my parents. For 30 dollars a week we get a very nice assortment of fruits and veggies delivered from June through November.

I used to go to them almost every week, but then we moved. The market near us now is pretty disappointing, so I don't usually buy when I go there.

We go to ours weekly, and try to buy as much of our veggies and salad greens there as we can. The quality and flavor is about 100x better than what you get at the grocery store for the same veggies, and the prices are reasonable (especially if you factor in quality). The farmer’s market is the only place I’ll buy eggs. We also buy lots of yogurt and cheese there, as well as meat and honey.

We usually go to one in our city 2-3 times a month. We ONLY buy eggs from Farmer's Markets and try to buy more of our produce from there too. We live in Texas and we're very close to peach season so I will probably go every week just to buy fresh peaches.

We get a weekly produce box from local producers, but go from time to time. We buy our eggs from a local market, and will sometimes pick up some delicious other treats. We also bought a 1/4 of a cow (!!!!) and have been working our way through it. What that means is LOTS OF BEEF. I mean...LOTS.

Yes, I go to ours every Sunday and we always buy something but it's expensive so it's never a 'stock up' situation, more of a special treat here and there.
