Or, even if you don't, but can! Please buy the Wegman's brand whole wheat pita next time you go. Better yet, the mini pita! It's SO GOOD!

I don't shop there on a regular basis but when we want something "nice" we shop there. DH loves their chacuterie (sp?). I like the stuff they have but man is that place a mad house.
I will definitely try the mini pita!

YUM! Love me some Wegmans! We're getting a brand-spankin' new one right by our apartment (a big one with an entire sit-down restaurant etc.)... can't wait!!

I try not to shop there too much b/c Wegmans is the devil. Last time I was there i spent $130 vs my usual $80 weekly spend.
Their rosemary-balsamic marinade and smoked chipotle salsa are AMAZING.

Mmmm Wegman's. I wish there was one closer to me. We have one in driving distance but it's a special trip to get there.

I miss Wegman's soooo much. I don't understand how it isn't all over the country!

I love everything about Wegman's. Our whole pantry is stocked with wegman's brand everything. I used to live 3 minutes from one, and now we live about 45 minutes from one...but we still make at least 1 trip a month there to stock up on everything.

I love Wegman's. Their mini kalamata olive rolls are so good! I love that they have a huge organic selection because I used to have to make special trips to the health food store for produce. I also really like that the checkout lines are set up so that the checker has to bag your groceries. Call me spoiled but I hate when I go to another store and the checker just stands there and doesn't even help you bag. My only complaint is that it is always SO CROWDED! I feel like some people go there just to browse or something. I never grocery shop on the weekends to avoid the crowds but at Wegman's a Tuesday at 10:00 AM is as bad as Saturday mornings!

I'm surprised to see several of you mention that it's crowded. Ours is not crowded at all unless there's a chance of snow or a risk of a hurricane :). I LOVE Wegman's!!!

I love wegmans! I discovered it about 15 years ago when I was up in Corning, Ny and I think that is their flagship store. Never had I seen such an amazing supermarket. My parents live 15 mins from one and I go every day when I'm back at their house.

I have never heard of wegmans! Just googled, and ive never lived in a state where they exist, so makes sense their stuff looks really good, though!

Pretty much the only place I shop. Thanks for the suggestion, I will give the pitas a try!
@dagret: Where do you usually shop? I've found Wegmans to be cheaper than Giant, Shoprite, or Safeway, but I imagine Aldi or Mars might be less??

@78h2o: I also find it to be cheaper. Better for less! Though, I could see myself spending way too much on all of the fun goodies if I didn't shop there weekly.

@Weagle: we only have one Wegmans in the whole region (New England) right now. When it first opened last year there were people driving from an hour or two away! It's still super crowded every weekend, but they're building at least 3 more in the state right now, so hopefully it'll get better.

I love Wegman's and keep begging them to open one on Long Island. My grandparents live near one and I go to Wegman's every time I'm up at their house. Love their chocolate chip cookies and Italian bread and subs and...everything!

I miss Wegmans...I grew up near the original one, but now I live in SC and we don't have them here. The only time I get to go is when we go back to NY to my parents cottage on one of the fingerlakes, or to my brother's house in PA.

I loved Wegmans when I lived on the east coast. I loved getting their pumpkin roll around the holidays. I miss it.

@bluestriped bee: My dad is OBSESSED with those pumpkin rolls. He goes into a depression when they are gone for the season They make pumpkin whoopie pies, too!

@78h2o: I shop at giant but I overspend at wegmans bc there's so many tempting extras, like @weagle said.

@JerricaBenton: They make whoopie pies now?!? Need to check it out when I go home next.

@Weagle: I love their pitas! We usually only shop there for specialties and I can never avoid their bakery section. Mmm..chocolate dipped chocolate chip cookies.

@Dandelion: jealous! I would love a cottage on the FLs!

@Weagle: thank you for recommending those pitas! I've been eating them all week

@regberadaisy: It's nothing fancy. But when my parents go they spend more time out of it than in it, so it doesn't need to impress anyone. Just an old fishing cabin. But, we love it. I pretty much grew up there in the summers.

Thanks for the suggestion! The closest Wegman's to us is about 45 minutes away, but there's one close to my parents. We go there all the time. And I just found out that they're opening one at our mall in the fall which is only 15 minutes away! Hooray!!
