I just bought some jeans and tops on piperlime. And I bought DS the gluxe yesterday.
I don't like shopping all that much, so when I do, usually it's spur of the moment.

Yes. I got the email about the PBK beach wrap sale yesterday morning and had ordered one by 9am!

No, because we're on a total budget crunch. I haven't had a real shopping 'spree' or unplanned purchase in a long time.

Nope! We live by a super strict budget, so I have to plan in advance to shop!

@lawbee11: enabler!
Yes! Trying to stop but Lawbee11 sucks me in!

Yes almost always. We budget for it, but it's spontaneous for when I actually buy something.

Yes! I bought a few pairs of jeans from Loft online yesterday. Then, I picked up some tops and dresses while at Target later in the afternoon. Yesterday was an expensive day.

I'd say yes. I have short burst of when I shop like crazy, and then other times when I buy nothing at all.

@Smurfette: yup. I needed something for playground and park trips!

I try not to! I add a lot of things to my cart or take a lot of items when I'm browsing but try not to actually check out with every or anything!

Rarely. I haaate spending money on clothes so it usually takes days or weeks to talk myself into it.

Usually no, I typically have to convince myself to do it! It is like a three week process for me to buy a pair of yoga pants. You would think my husband would appreciate that I am not an impulse shopper but I think instead he gets stuck hearing about the same prolonged purchase for weeks on end so it must feel like I have bought it 12 times by the time the item comes home.

Yep, all the time.
Just bought a new jacket on nordstrom.com because I need a spring coat.
cantaloupe / 6692 posts
Nope. We budget and it controls our impulse spending. I'm so glad.

Never. We don't have the budget for that since I'm not working and am staying at home with DS. Before though? Aaaaall the time!

I do and don't. Some things I buy in the moment and other items I need to think about to see if I still like them. I did get a cute pair of sandals today

Only if it's something I've previously decided I needed. I don't see something for the first time and buy it, or almost never. I research everything.

Yes. All of the shopping I do for myself is on a whim.
For DDs it is a bit more planned. I know in advance that they are growing out of something, so usually I plan in the upcoming weeks to go out and buy them clothes/pajamas/shoes etc.

Yep. Yesterday I was on my way to work and saw a girl with a bag I liked. It reminded me that I wanted a brown cross-body bag at Madewell so I ordered it while on the bus.
But I shop a lot so not sure if it's still considered on a whim. It's almost expected that I'll buy something every week

Yes, as in I buy things that I don't "need" but could for sure use.
