I wish I could but now she grabs at everything and wont let me stop to look.

Yup, I don't have a choice bc I don't have anyone to watch her and DH is really busy w work and school. I keep the shopping trips really short - def under an hr and a half - bc she's really really active now and refuses to sit still or be carried -.-

We've gone on quite a few mall trips, average about 4 hrs. She's changing so much each week though that I never know if it'll be great or horrible. It's worth a try! Bring toys. Also keep in mind the crowds will be insane for the holiday.

Yup, I actually really love shopping with LO! Usually we babywear, although in a grocery store or Target she sometimes goes in the cart.

Usually we'll stroll around shopping for a few hours, return to our car to drop off any purchases, pick up the diaper bag and then go for a diaper change, followed by lunch/dinner/snack.

I did a seven hour stretch once. I was exhausted. I was still on maternity leave through the holidays and had to get all my christmas shopping done. I went to a mall that had a Nordstroms and used their mother's room. And I brought the sleep sheep for the stroller naps.

Yup I have...I just make sure that I either only hit one store, or if it's multiple, they're right next to each other. I also try to go right after he wakes up from a nap. I'll usually wear him in the ergo since I have to take the subway.

Yes, all the time! I wear her on my Beco and she absolutely loves it. I bring a huge tote bag to put all of my shopping stuff in. But if I'm shopping for clothes for myself, I'll bring the stroller so that I can try stuff on.

Only a little bit. Like if I'm at Target I might look at some clothes.... but not for very long. She gets fussy if I keep her in the stroller for too long and she won't stroller nap.

ALWAYS! I think it must be easy since she's so young, but only until very recently, she would never nap at home! So I'd take her walking, strolling around the mall and outdoor shopping center. I had to stay at the mall once almost 5 hours because she was napping so well and I didn't want her waking up crying and hungry on the drive home. Plus, free A/C is nice and I get a good amount of exercise. Now... I rarely ever try anything on these days.

For sure, with one! I hesitate to take both my kids now, but I have done it.

yup! dude loves to run errands, go to the grocery store, and hit the mall. he will even let me try clothes on, likes to check himself out in the dressing room mirrors, hahaha.

All the time! She is pretty good about chilling in her stroller. If I couldn't go shopping with her alone I would go nuts. We go to Target at least once a week.
