I never used to. Now that I sleep on my side, if I don't put a pillow or blankets between my legs, my vag bone hurts a lot. -.-
Less than 6 weeks of this torture!!

Vag bone, lol! No, I'm still OK sleeping normally at 33 weeks. Sorry your vag bone is in pain!

Yep. I put the king sized pillow between my legs, hug the feather pillow (in the flannel pillow case) and lay my head on the tempurpedic pillow. It has to be that way or I'm totally uncomfortable.

I had to in my first trimester when my hips started to hurt! Now i'm definitely uncomfortable without it. No pregnancy pillow yet!

Yep! Started around 13 weeks. I can't sleep on my side without one.

Yep, I'm a side sleeper. I tuck a body pillow who I've named "Rob Lowe" between my knees.

I just started in the past few nights. It has already helped relieve some of the lower back pain I was starting to feel. It's also helped with some annoying pain I was having around my sternum.

Not preggo, but ever since I was a baby, I always slept with a body pillow so yes!

Yes! Been doing it for years. Even if i'm being lazy on the couch I have a little throw pillow between my knees. In bed though I have a body pillow and sleep on my side.

Now that I'm restricted to side sleep, I keep a pillow between my legs, one behind my back and one under my head.
*ETA* @hergreenapples: I totally know what you mean about sternum pain! Hugging a pillow made mine go away.

@LemonLong: Hahaha. Rob Lowe.
I've had knee & hip pain for years so I always sleep with a pillow between my legs when I sleep on my side or a pillow under my knees when I sleep on my back. Heavenly.
I think I will name my pillow Lenny Kravitz.

I totally do. It's more comfortable now and I hate the feeling of my chubby pregnant thighs rubbing together when I'm sleeping on my side.

Yes but lately I get suffocatingly hot at night and keep throwing it on the floor!

Ditto! My "vag bone" has been hurting a lot too!! I'm so embarrassed to bring it up to my OB, but sleeping with a pillow in-between my legs have helped.

I never got it to help me. Plus turning over 1 billion thousand times and switching from side to side was made more complicated with extra pillows, so I just have one head pillow to minimize the grand production that is switching sides.

Not pregnant yet but I do! I sleep on my stomach, but always have a pillow next to me in case I turn on my side. I love knee pillows.
pineapple / 12053 posts
yes, i did somewhat regularly when not pregnant and now it's a must along with the pillow that goes under my bump to support it!

I never had to before either until becoming preggo. Even with the pillow between my legs my vag bone hurts in the morning right when I sit up before I get out of bed. Ouch!
cantaloupe / 6751 posts
Yup! Never did it before pregnancy but now even at almost nine months pp I can't sleep without a pillow!
GOLD / papaya / 10206 posts
@MungBean: same- I can't live without it now, even though I'm 8mos PP.

@chopsuey119: vag bone lol! I hear you on it hurting. I sleep with the snoogle...cannot say enough good things about it!

I sleep with one between my legs. My doctor said it'll help with the pelvic pain. Yeah, right! It does make it easier to sleep, but it's a huge deal to roll over!

I'm with you, @boiledpnut! Maybe I'm the only crazy pregnant lady out there who had this experience...but I tried sleeping with a pillow between my knees because everyone I talk to says pregos are supposed to sleep better that way, right?
...And I ended up with a super achy pelvis and horrible sciatic pain. :O It didn't go away until I slept on my side normally again. Maybe I needed to give my pillow a name or something...

Yes, I've been cuddling a body pillow at night too, including between the knees/legs. Unfortunately, it doesn't keep my hips (whichever one is on the bottom) or my shoulders (whichever one is on the bottom) from getting sore, so I rotate every few hours--which, given the GIANT pillow, is always a process. At about 26 and a half weeks, I think DH is just counting down days until he doesn't have to share the bed with a giant pillow any more!
