My parents always offer their room(with the Queen bed) but we don't want to be an inconvenience so we just sleep in different rooms with twin beds!
Do you sleep with your SO when you visit your family?

Both of our parents live in town so we don't have to worry about it.

Yup. The options at my parents house are a bedroom with a king bed in the basement, and then they have a guest room upstairs with a queen. So when we are there at the same time as my brother and SIL it's always a battle to see who gets the better room in the basement : )

My in-laws had two extra twin beds, so they pushed them together and put a king sized mattress topper on it. You hardly feel the middle of the bed! It's been really, really nice. Before this trip, we had to stay with friends because they didn't have anything other than one twin.

Yup, at my moms/brothers there's a full size bed in my nieces room that we sleep in. She never sleeps in her room.
At ILs they always have a guest room with a queen.

both of our parents live in town but, when we go up north to the ILs' hometown we sleep in the same room

All of our inlaws live nearby. If there isn't a place for us to sleep in the same bed, we've just brought sleeping bags to make floor beds in the past. We also used our air mattress once because someone had the empty space, just no bed.

Yep. Always. They have a guest room we sleep in. My BIL used to live in it, so he'd get stuck with the couch when we came to visit. He stayed up later than all of us, so it wasn't a big deal.

Yepp. We sleep on an air mattress at my mom’s, In DH’s old room with his queen bed at his dad’s house and in BIL’s room at his mom’s house.

We do now, but my dad was weirdly strict about us not sleeping together until we were engaged (even though we lived together, haha!) so until that happened we were in separate rooms. It was actually a huge running joke in our family to the point where the night we got engaged (we were visiting my parents that weekend), multiple family members made a big deal to my dad about us sleeping in the same bed (in a joking manner of course). It was hilarious.

We do. My MIL has a queen sized guest bed and my mom has a full sized bed that we barely fit on. But we make it work.

Yes, although now pregnant DH will have to sleep in the other guest room at my parent's since the full bed just is'nt big enough for the two (well three) of us anymore. NOrmally though both parent's have a large enough bed for us, both in our old bedrooms. They even both have a crib for when the LO gets here!

We tried but sleeping in a full was too uncomfortable. When we're at the inlaws' we sleep separately since they only have twin beds
