I reject both whoops and woops as valid spellings, although I'm pretty sure they are. So if pressed, I'll go with oops.

Whoops and Oops. But aren't they two different words? "whups" and "ooops"?

Oops and Whoops are two different words to me. But I wouldn't ever use woops.

yeah I agree oops is different word from whoops so I used both spellings, I also use whoopsie lol

I would say oops if I was trying to do something and did it wrong, or made a mistake (like trying to make a new meal and it turned out gross). Whoops would be like a total accident out of the blue (like tripping and doing a faceplant).

I agree with @Mamamoose.
They are different words with different meanings and pronunciations. But "woops" does not exist.

I totally agree with @mamamoose!
and to me, "woops" might come out if I'm typing quick (damn that iphone keyboard..) but I don't really see it as a ..like, false word, or anything. I kind of interchange woops/whoops depending on how quick I'm typing.

I take the word "whoop" to mean an sound like a hoot or holler. If I make a mistake I say "oops".

I use whoops and oops as two different words, like @mamamoose.

I also use oops and whoops as two different words, but I use oops more often.

I prefer the term "whoopsie doopsie" with an emphasis on the oopsies.

I also use "whoop" and "oops" as two different meanings. I'll use "Whoop" when I'm excited while texting or emailing someone like "Whoop, whoop! I'm proud" and I use "Oops" when I messed something up!

Whoops or oops, although I use them as two different words. I really don't care if someone uses woops either though.
