Yup! It's a blankie...and it's at my parents house. I won't let you know how long I slept with it for
pomelo / 5257 posts
Yup. I'm a little embarrassed to admit ... It's in my bed. My mom used to joke that I would still have it when I was married. I showed you, mom!! Wait.... Haha

My mom has it somewhere. It's mere shards of a blankie, but it still exists.

@MrsSCB: I pull him out when DH is out of town or when I go out of town lol
cherry / 175 posts
Yes. And I still slept with it up until a year or two ago. (I'm almost 35 and have been married 6 years!) I had to finally stop because the top and bottom of the quilt have worn so much the stuffing is coming out in lots of places. I do miss it though and the cool feel against my face while falling asleep!

I do! It's tucked in a wooden chest with other blankets and keepsakes.

Yup! It's an unzipped kid sleeping bag pale yellow with kittens. I believe it is held together by duct tape in some places
It is in a closet at my parents' house, and I'll grab it someday, along with the rest of my childhood stuff.

Yep. It's in my closet! It's a blankie, and I slept with it up until I met DH! I can't believe I just admitted that!

I still have my favourite teddy bear. He sits on the rocking chair in DD's room. Of course he looks nothing like he did a few years ago. My dog found him and chewed off his head. Now his head has been sewed back on and he's had a makeover. He looks weird to me now!

Mine is in bed with me now. I'm so glad I'm not alone! DH wants to fix him up and pass him down to baby girl when she arrives next month. We'll see...

Yeah! I had two. My "Pooh Pillow" which is a small Winnie the Pooh pillow. That's pretty worn down and at my parent's house someplace. My other one, this guy, was in my wedding!
(And he may or may not still be in our bed...)
wonderful grape / 20453 posts
Yep! Actually my mom put new trim on my baby blanket for me to give to the baby

I do! I had 2 - one of which was a blanket which is packed away and a red flannel bathrobe that is in my bed. I was a thumbsucker and liked to rub the lace around the blanket and robe. Thank god I gave up thumbsucking when I was 5 but I cut the lace off the robe and a piece stays in my pocket for travel. Haha. Whatever makes ya happy.

Yep lol. My favorite stuffed animals are now taking up residence in LO's nursery, and my blankets (that my great aunt made) are ready for her to use! Glad I can pass them on :))

No, it was destroyed when I was about 9. I carried it everywhere and it didnt hold up. One day someone threw it in the wash and it was so worn it literally disintegrated
I was heartbroken.

yup, i have my Bunny, he has come with me everywhere I have been! and he's been through a lot and survived, lol. I don't keep on my bed anymore, but I did pack him in my hospital bag when I went into labor!

@Bookworm: i have a few other stuffed animals along with my main one that are now in L's crib as well. DH keeps telling me we have too many and need to get rid of some.

my "lovey" was a HUGE blanket that my grandma made me. It's pink and soft and YES it's still on our master bed!!
DH loves it as a throw blanket on top of our comforter during the winter (aside from it's PINK color!) and I sleep better touching it... and I'm turning 30 this year!?

yes I had 2 "blankies" - and now LO has them! I actually put a photo of her in one on IG and I think @Boogs said she had the same one as a child
nectarine / 2771 posts
yup, it's a pig stuffed animal who's new residence is in LO's nursery
kiwi / 693 posts
Yep, my threadbare Teddy is still around. I also still have my baby blanket, which is in almost perfect condition, because I was so much more into my bear!
GOLD / papaya / 10166 posts
I think I accidentally got rid of it
It was a quilt my mom made for me. I used to rub the corner of it under my nose to fall asleep. lol
nectarine / 2274 posts
YES, even though it's pretty ugly and ripped, I keep it in a drawer in my dresser.

@TheSwissWifeStyle: too cute!!!!
@Mrs. Pen: my grandma decapitated one of my bunnies in the washing machine once! She pulled out just the head and I was traumatized for life!!! She sewed it back on but the head was always a little tilted. That bunny was never quite the same for me... I think I considered it not a real love anymore since I knew it had "died".
@mrsjyw: I had something similar, but it was a duvet for my comforter in college. It just got really soft and I have a total tactile sensation fixation... I'd sleep so much better if I was touching it. It's so worn out that I'm afraid to wash it! The corners are all threadbare and tearing. So sad
I did have another bunny doll that I carried with me everywhere. My mom bought her for me at K-mart when we were buying easter shoes and she didn't let me get the pair I wanted. She's still at my parents' house!
watermelon / 14467 posts
Yes. It's a bear and his name is Cuddles. He still sleeps on our bed (I use him to block out the sound/light of the TV in the living room). I don't know if LO will get Cuddles or not.
