I'm still hooked and my kids are 22 & 6 months.

Just when he's sick so I can keep track of meds and temperatures.
I'll definitely be firing it up big time when #2 arrives, wish I'd had it when C was new!

I use it so I know how long he's been awake/asleep, and to keep virtual track of vaccines, stats, and upcoming Dr's appointments.

Every. Single. Day.
I have lots of caretakers; grandparents...a nanny. Babyconnect keeps me connected and sane.
I only record what he eats (both solids and bottle) and sleep. (He's 9 months adjusted, 1 year actual.)

I accidentally erased it from my iPod when DD was six months old! I fumed about it for days but DH said to look at it as a good thing and use the opportunity to break free of its hold on me - I was addicted! I must admit, life did become easier when I wasn't constantly scrambling for my iPod to input every little bit of data!
I will buy it again and use it when baby #2 arrives in Feb though. It's just so invaluable for those early days!

@Ree723: I think you can download it again at no extra cost!
pomelo / 5789 posts
We stopped using at about 4 months, but it was invaluable those first few months.
@autumnlove is right, if you've paid once, you can download again for free @Ree723

Yes. Always for sleep and nursing. Sleep is the main thing. I also like entering her stats from doctor appointments.

I stopped last weekend tracking diapers and feeds. Now use it for medical, milestones, etc

nope-- sometimes i'll add in wt/ht but, i stopped using it at 3 months when i went back to work.

@autumnlove: @wheres_c: Thanks ladies! I've tried before but can't ever seem to get it to work. I have upgraded to an iPad since then so I know if I want the iPad specific app I have to pay again, but I'd be ok with using the iPhone app if I meant I could retrieve all my data from E. I know it's there on the website but it's so not user friendly...and I miss my charts and graphs! I'd love to be able to reference them when this next baby arrives. Supposedly if you have the same Apple ID (I haven't changed it), you should be able to put the app on multiple devices, so I should be able to get the iPhone app here but so far, no luck.
Am I just technologically moronic?!? I think I am!
ETA: it has been confirmed, I am an idiot. I've got it back (the phone version) and it has my data. I'd blame this on pregnancy brain....but no, this has been going on far longer than I've been pregnant! Seriously, it's a wonder I make it through the day sometimes!

@Ree723: Yay! I bought the iPad and iPhone version...addicted!

Yep. We only do bottles so I can track his oz and sleep. Also love it for meds
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
Nope i stopped after a month or so but I was very obsessive about milk intake - I always knew how many oz he'd had until around 12 months.

My LO is 23 months and I still use it to track diapers and her sleeping. It's nice to have a look back...especially when something seems off.

Haha. Tracked first DS until 9 months or so. I only tracked my newborn until about 3 weeks

All the time!
Obviously I'm using it for the baby, but I still use it to track my 2.5 year olds growth and refer to his growth charts on there often.
ETA: I mainly use(d) it to track nursing sessions, pumpings, and growth.

No way! I was obsessive about it until probably eight weeks, and then my LC talked me out if using it so that I could just follow DD's cues and be less freaked out when I saw how little/much time since her last feed/nap/diaper change etc. Was a really good decision for me. I became much better at trusting my babe
GOLD / grapefruit / 4007 posts
Yep for sleep and bottles. I just like not having to think about how long it has been. We also use it for medi when he's sick

My husband and I use it since we split care. We only track naps, day feedings, and diapers.
coconut / 8681 posts
Ummmm I used it for months with DS and I haven't used it AT ALL with DD. I'm just too busy keeping her alive (haha) and her brother occupied to input everything.
pineapple / 12053 posts
I used it like crazy for 5.5 months and then we were traveling and I used that time to stop cold turkey. I still use an app to track her doctors appts and growth stats.
